    On August 7, 2025, I brought my 2022 Honda Passport in for a routine oil change. I received a call…read morefrom the service department saying my battery was reading low and needed to be replaced. Since my husband works long hours, we authorized them to replace it. We picked up my vehicle later that day and paid a $700.44 bill, trusting the work had been completed. Fast forward to February 2026 -- my vehicle suddenly wouldn't start. A coworker had to jump it. This happened several more times, leaving me stranded and late for work. Because the battery was supposedly only six months old, we opened the hood to take a look -- and discovered the exact same battery was still in the vehicle. The battery we paid for had never been replaced. I went to the service department this morning, understandably upset after missing work. One employee immediately became defensive and told me their Honda technician was booked. Thankfully, another employee noticed there were no technician notes from August and made sure my vehicle was checked. There was no explanation as to why the battery wasn't replaced the first time. No apology. No acknowledgment of the inconvenience or the safety risk. I was simply handed my keys and told, "Here's your vehicle. You're good to go. They replaced the battery." What makes this even more concerning is that this is not the first time we've questioned whether services were properly completed. About a year ago, they replaced my engine air filter and cabin air filter. Yet less than four months later, I had to replace the cabin air filter again myself because of a strong odor coming from the AC. That should not happen that quickly after replacement. This has now happened more than once. Customers deserve honesty, accountability, and basic respect -- especially when we are paying hundreds of dollars and trusting professionals to do the work they say they've done.
