As a couple traveling on a birthday get-away, having brake problems with our 2014 Ford Focus, it was very comforting to find a shop that would make time for making the needed repairs.
On Sunday, July 30, 2017, we heard grinding noises on the left front brake while sight seeing south of Williston. (the Confluence of the Missouri and Yellowstone Rivers) We drove into Williston, found a room at the local Motel 6, and were treated well there (that's a separate story). They helped us find a shop that would be able get us on the road again on Monday. I called the owner of the shop Sunday evening from the motel, and he advised us to stop in Monday morning (July 31, 2017) and he would make room in his schedule to get us back on the road again. We were in the shop around 9:15, and the car was done by noon.
All four wheels had the disc brake pads worn, and the rotors on both front wheels were wearing and were replaced. We've driven about 250 miles to Devil's Lake, ND It was very nice to be spared the grinding sound that we were treated to yesterday.
If you are in the Williston, ND area, having trouble with your vehicle, I'd recommend the services of this place. It's a used car lot, and repair facility. It isn't a show place for appearances sake, but the competence and courtesy of the mechanical staff and the office manager are second to none. The timing, prices for parts and labor, in my opinion were reasonable, even for the shops we normally visit in our home town.
Magrum Motors are on my visit again should we have car problems and in the Williston, ND neighborhood.
