I have been a client of Brow Theory for a while, but unfortunately I had never been able to fill my card with enough stamps to claim a freebie, because with a schedule that's a bit all over the place and haphazard beauty routine - I rarely found myself with enough time to get out to Armadale or remember in time to book in one of the popular Wednesday/Friday sessions they did at Miss Fox. Having tried other places more convenient to me in the meantime and having suffered from uneven brows and horrible patchy red skin for up to a week following, I was thrilled to see them open a permanent home in the CBD. This will forever be my go-to now and I *may* even maintain the things now instead of waiting for them to be gross to get them fixed! I popped in today for their opening special to get a full shape up before having lunch with my best friend. The only girl I would let lunch with me with firey-red patchy skin. Only I didn't have that problem. In fact she commented that apart from being meticulously neat, she couldn't even tell that I just had them done. Brow win. The staff are incredibly lovely and good at what they do. My brows are an awkward shape and will never grow properly thanks to a bad waxing job as a teenager, but the girls always discuss what they're going to do to make them as even as possible to make me feel comfortable before they attack them with thread. Recommended.

The first half hour of the massage was standard, but the second one was different. The masseus switched between facial and massage for an hour. This gave the lotions and cleansers time to dry. While this back and forth sounds hectic, it was still very comfortable. And my skin looked and felt great. The body wrap felt nice but truthfully I wouldn't do it again. I didn't feel it really did anything. The Vichy shower was great. They rub your whole body with an exfoliant and then clean you off with a 7-headed shower. The shower heads rotate and massage. I liked it but I'm not sure I'd do it again. The table itself is pretty hard even with the mat on it. Overall good experience and nice place. I'd be happy to go back!

It's cheaper than some others in the vicinity too, I pay $22 and in my opinion they provide an all round better service. There's also a loyalty system, with your 7th threading free. The staff are always ridiculously happy and friendly, I walk out of there with a smile - and some very fine brows. The ladies will ask how you'd like your brows styled, checking after each brow that you're happy. Don't worry if you're a newbie, I have taken plenty of people here to have their first threading experience and the staff are always happy to provide some friendly guidance. The store can be a little tricky to locate as it's tucked down Royal Arcade, you can access from Bourke Street Mall or Elizabeth Street. Atmosphere: The salon itself is not large. However, it still gets the job done, is clean, and a relatively cute place with great employees. Customer Service: From the phone to the salon, the customer service is fantastic! Firstly, they were very accommodating with the schedule over the phone and try their best to work around your hours. When I arrived for my appointment, I was serviced by a woman named Katie and since it was my first time waxing, I wasn't sure about what to expect. I thought it would be awkward since she can see my private bits, but there was actually nothing to be afraid of! Katie was explaining the process as she went along, made me feel comfortable, and made casual conversation so there was no awkward silence. The only reason why this salon gets one star off is because the waxing job wasn't that clean - there was still a bit of self-plucking to be done later. However, come here for the great service and awesome rates. If you have the money to spend though and don't care whether or not the customer service is great, you should try someplace else.
