While I like and appreciate the staff at Mpls Singles, I agree with many of the other reviewers that the service was oversold. I was led to believe there would be many compatible matches, but I haven't had any success finding anyone who is even close to what I'm looking for. I've requested meetings with several members, only to be declined without any explanation. The response options are simply "Yes" or "No, thanks," with no opportunity or requirement to provide feedback. While I understand that no one owes an explanation, the lack of any insight makes it difficult to know whether the matching process is working or how to improve future matches. Overall, I'm extremely disappointed with the service and, based on my experience, would not recommend it. read more

Minneapolis Singles is outdated, misleading, and not worth the cost. Their marketing does not match the reality of the service. The member browsing platform is not optimized for mobile use and feels like something built decades ago. It's clunky, difficult to navigate, and far below modern standards. I was misled about the criteria used to evaluate applicants and the volume of members in their data base. Transparency was lacking from the start. I was also told that professional photography was a major component of the fee, yet I never received my digital photos as promised. The photos used for members - including mine - look overly staged and outdated, more like church directory headshots than modern dating profiles. When I raised these concerns, the company offered no apology, no accountability, and no refund- only excuses. I would not recommend this service. read more

I was mislead on what the experience would be. The selection is shockingly small. The "Relationship Specialist" Laura gave the impression I'd be hearing from her and I haven't heard from her once except in her initial recommendation of women I may be interested in which was the only 3 or 4 possible. I was not able to access the site until I had my professional pictures taken which conveniently couldn't be scheduled until after the 3 day window where you can ask for your money back which most people would once they see the poorly designed site. It's such a dirty, dirty move. Thousands of dollars wasted. I could have used that money to just go to random events to meeting people. Feel ripped off. I wish I could stop people from going to the office. Such a scam. read more

Nothing promised was delivered, a complete rip off. This is NOT a match maker service, as the sales person described it. It is no different than any other singles database, except that there is a VERY small "inventory" of people on the service. There are VERY few events, as was promised, and they all have an additional fee, which I was told was included. After my first five "matches" from Laura, I never heard from her again. If only I could have that money back I could just go on a nice singles cruise :) DO NOT DO IT! read more

They really don't have the population so even if they offered up the service, they do not have the reach of regular online dating services. I have been with them for a few years and searching the databases every now and then, I have not found one man within my acceptable criteria. Also, their service is no different from online dating services like Match or Zoosk, except they have a smaller population. You would be better off investing in multiple online dating sites. read more

They take professional photos of you and have live Q & A interviews to watch prior to deciding to meet-giving you an idea of attraction level. It has been 4 business days now and still I have heard nothing so I am giving up on this company. Which is too bad given I have other single friends that wanted to see how this went and if well would have signed up also.

A while back, I contacted Chipheads for a comparison quote on the replacement of a laptop keyboard and frame after a water spill fried a touchpad. The first place I had visited for a quote was a lovely one-man shop that quoted me $300 minimum for the repair - and that was with full awareness that I'd already purchased my own replacement parts and therefore all cost on his part was purely labor. He also communicated clearly that accessing the keyboard area required moving multiple parts he was not entirely familiar with and laughed that he would have to give me the $2000+ laptop he'd tried to sell me if the repair didn't go well. I left the establishment unconvinced of his capability to fix my also $2000+ design powerhouse that had not left my side since I got her. Enter Chipheads. I contacted via the general email address on the website, outlining the general situation and requesting a quote. Chipheads teammate Scott responded, and the quote he gave was comparable. I then emailed to confirm that I'd ordered the right parts before making the decision to put my laptop basically in the hospital right before I was going to be gone for a full two weeks, so I wouldn't be able to get her back even if the parts were wrong and repairs could not be done. Scott never responded to that email, and I had to leave for my out-of-town event. When I'm home, I rely on my laptop heavily, so dropping off when I'm not occupied with an event is not ideal. When another long event came up on my schedule, I contacted Chipheads again, this time creating a new email thread directing back to the general email address - the previous thread had directed to Scott's email address after we connected. I admit that I was hoping that I would connect with Jarret this time, and I did. He responded not only quickly but also giving me the option of a two-week repair period for less than $200. I'd be occupied with my event for exactly that amount of time anyway, so this was perfect. When I arrived the day before my event started, Jarret was with another guest. Both the impression that the first shop had given me about the delicate nature of my repair and my own experience in tinkering with laptops and electronics in general added to why I specifically waited to speak directly with Jarret given the impression of reliability he gave me in our correspondence. I dropped my laptop off with Jarret the day before my event started. Less than 48 hours later, he called to let me know that my laptop was ready for pickup. That was back in August. I specifically waited to ensure that the laptop was in perfect working order before leaving a review. It's now October. Safe to say, my laptop is in good health. Dropping one star for Scott dropping the ball on communication. Regardless, I'd wholeheartedly recommend Chipheads for your repair and upgrade needs.

Their consistency is unmatched when it comes to quality and customer service, my two favorite things. With my latest printing request, I decided to contact a local printer instead since it was a smaller job (but still, a very important job). And the nightmare began-- with the local shops my emails were going unanswered, quotes were being delivered weeks later, and when I was finally able to get a response from someone and my product printed, I was disappointed (to say the least) with the results. I even had the local shop re-print...but round two was still not up to my admittingly high standards. So, I did what I should have done in the first place, and I contacted Richfield Printing. Mike gladly accepted my job and patiently answered my extensive questions. The job was printed the next day, and I was provided a tracking number the day after that. Two days later, the package arrived. I must say-- I was a bit nervous after the stress and negative results I'd experienced with the local printers. I opened the box and was immediately pleased with the care that went into the packaging. My product was beautifully separated, wrapped, and protected. (A very nice surprise compared to the way the previous shop had rubber-banded and thrown the product into a paper bag.) Based on the presentation, I knew what came next had to be good...and it sure was. Upon immediate glance, everything looked great...in fact, too great. I was so used to disappointment, this all seemed too good to be true. So I went back to look at every single piece, searching for error, but I found nothing. Howard's is a full service marina with boat slips, storage, fuel, boat rentals (pontoon and fishing), snacks, ice, and bathrooms. Many times we find ourselves just hanging out in our slip, boat watching, grabbing a pizza from their pizza oven, enjoying a cocktail, and watching the beautiful sunset. The office was beautiful and from the time I walked in they made me feel that they cared about helping me find the right person.
