This Miniso is always crowded and packed! There are many people in every aisle and it is tough to maneuver when you have a stroller with your kid. I always have to say excuse me to get by to the other end. They make good business here because a lot of people make purchases. The perfume section is not strong here as other locations that have more selections and samples to try. I love their pink tubular perfume and always stock on those. They are insanely cheap and affordable and smell so good! They almost smell like Chanel Mademoiselle without the patchouli. I love their perfume selections. Most of them have subtle smells in the floral and fruity classes. They also come in travel size so you can put them in your purse or pocket. This place got a lot of Sanrio and friends blind boxes. The boxes are $29.99 for the bigger boxes and the smaller boxes are mostly $19.99. They have a lot of these blind boxes in stock! They are rarely sold out. The items that are mostly sold out and barely there are the Miffy keychains and plush. Yesterday I came here and just saw one purple Miffy keychain available and the rest were the same orange ones left in stock. There were a few Miffy in a swing keychains available. I wish they restock on the Miffy products. Miniso here is located in Tangram Mall so they have pop ups from time to time. Yesterday I came here because they just announced their Hello Kitty pop up with exclusive and limited merchandise of the Hello Kitty tennis selection. The tennis selection was very cute. I purchased pink and green tees with Hello Kitty playing tennis. They were pretty big even in a small size. I also got a plastic bottle tumbler that can open halfway and on the top. The bottles were pastel green, pink, and beige so they looked very cool to carry it with you anywhere you go. There were unique blind boxes of Hello Kitty in retro diners that you can decorate your bedroom or cubicle. They had a lot of cosmetics and beauty accessories like nail clippers, combs, and tweezers. The coolest thing I found was an eyelash curler that was very tiny and portable to carry in your bag. It was rectangular size and not your average eyelash curler where there are two holes for your fingers to go through. This pop up had a lot of people and there was a long line to get in. I had to wait around an hour to get in. It was insanely that popular! People were waiting inside the ropes that twisted and turned. The coolest thing about this pop up was that there are red zippered Hello Kitty tote bags for free when you purchase $65 or more from the pop up. I had an absolutely fun time here. I wanted all those dang plushes. There were some candies I wanted to buy in the front of the store but I was a little strapped for cash unfortunately. I was here on a Sunday and it wasn't as packed as I thought it was going to be. I felt very overwhelmed because there was just so many items to look and choose. The prices were little above average but the vaule might be good for some not all. Its definitely a great window shopping store if you want to burn off some calories while you look around. This store is the worst. I've shopped here multiple times and this store has totally sh*t the bed. Recently I bought two $10 nightlights for my daughters and one wouldnt charge or power on. Came back again to try to exchange it and they wouldn't let us, even with receipt. They also said that the self check out is final sales and they can't do anything for us. Okay.. but the day we were checking out, nobody was at the register or around to help us. So what did you want me to do? We've been loyal customer since they first opened in Tangram. Having experienced the magic of Miniso for my time overseas, I had longed for the same thing in NYC for years. As luck would have it, it finally happened (#1) inside of Tangram, where it's been received with lukewarm reception ever since. Like the rest of the mall, it's bright, clean, and well organized. Flushing bizes tend to endure some level of crowding, but that hasn't been the case here. As many apt comparisons have been made already, Miniso is sort of like Daiso but with higher prices. They have a whole variety of seasonal things, which are fun to browse and peruse their latest selections. I am usually at Miniso looking for cheaper electronics (#2) but the selection isn't particularly great here. Instead, their kid friendly items are well stocked, making this a decent option for children's gifts. I think the biggest gripe here has to be the customer service. Many folks have pointed out the apathy and attitudes of the workers here, which has been hurting their bottom line. Miniso is located on the ground floor inside the Tangram building in the heart of Flushing. Practically 80 percent of their products are under ten bucks! They have a variety of everything: toys, makeup, Asian snacks, small household goods, pillows, cell phone accessories, stationary, etc. It was quite enjoyable perusing their aisles and finding random, fun stuff. The plushies and bento boxes were a must buy for me that day. The store isn't very large, but the layout is easy to understand. On the first day, not all of the items were marked with prices, so it was a bit of a guessing game on how much they cost. Hopefully, they fix that soon. Just opened! A new globally inspired lifestyle store. With some Kawaii cuteness thrown in. Started in China, they now have over 4,500 stores worldwide. Competition to Daiso? Not at this location. Much less variety and diversity of merchandise available. Most of Miniso's products are billed as under $10, with a few larger items between $10-$20, and a couple of things over $20. Hunt around, you might find something nice. Located in the new Tangram Flushing retail space, in the center atrium, right behind the enormous red 12 ft decorative ball. Watch a movie in the theater, then walk over to Miniso. Here they have a bit of everything, but not much in interesting variety or selection. Some kawaii mugs, basic hats, stuffed plushy animals, cute tiny decorative pillows, a few snacks and drinks, baby stuff, tiny backpacks, a few kitchenware items, cute storage containers, some basic electronic gear, tiny cute lamp, travel mugs, a lot of cute duck decorated items, pet products mostly leash/ collars, cotton swabs, hangers, markers, basic plastic bins, some exercise equipment like yoga mats, key chains, stuffed plushies are everywhere, etc. Now my personal experience there: Music is excruciatingly loud. I could barely hear the worker I was talking to. My ears started to hurt. I left without buying anything because of this. Pricing: 90% of the products do not have price tags. All you know is that most items are under $10, with a few closer to $20. I was told by a worker that if I wanted to know the exact price, I'd have to go over to the cashier area. I felt a few items that had prices, seemed a bit expensive, for what it is. Many items didn't seem unique, like Pocky sticks and Brookstone kitchen spatulas and spoons. 5 stars for their stuffed plushie collection! Super duper cute and unique! They have one shaped like a cup of boba tea. Not worth going if you have to wait to get in, but check it out if you happen to be in the atrium. Miniso is a retail chain from China that sells a lot of small every day items at low prices. This particular location is inside Flushing's Tangram mall. It appears to be a copycat of the Japanese Daiso chain, but a lesser version. They offer a much smaller variety of goods. Here they mainly sell plush dolls and snacks, with a small selection of household items (beauty items, stationery, kitchenware). Honestly, there's no reason to go here instead of Daiso. read more

This Miniso is located inside Tangram Mall in Flushing. It is the second NYC store. There is one in Soho. This one is a bit smaller compared to the SoHo location. They do have a bunch of cute items such as plushies, household goods, and snacks. The prices are decent. However, every time I come to this location, I feel like a lot of things are sold out or not fully stocked. It could be because it is always busy in the mall. If you're not familiar with Miniso it's a popular Chinese retail chain that sells little knickknacks. I loved checking this place out whenever I am in Hong Kong and super excited that they opened one right here in Queens. This location is on the bottom floor of the new Tangram mall, which is where the old Flushing mall used to be. The store itself is very spacious. Right when you enter you'll find most of the newest collaboration items. The store also has some home goods, a lot of stuffed animals, toys and some snacks. The key thing is unlike some of the other Asian retail stores this one is highly seasonal. Good thing is you'll always find new stuff, bad thing is if you aren't sure about something, and then decide you want it later on. If I could give it no stars I would. My daughter got a little Pusheen egg which included a squishy water toy. Didn't even play with it and I noticed a leak! I tried to return it the next day and they would not take it back. The policy which I posted below states defective items can be returned. Manager literary told me they couldn't take it back because it was open! Umm firstly, the policy stated new, unused OR defective items can be returned within 7 days NOT new, unused, AND defective. And... how would I know if it was defective if I didn't open the packaging???? They told me it was the company's fault not the stores. None of the things made any sense at all, nor even common sense. Bought a bag of Kit Kats thinking that they cost $2.99 (yes it sounded too good to be true but if it looks like no one is buying any of your 30+ bags of KitKats that are in baskets under a huge $2.99 sign I would assume you were trying to get rid of overstock) So when I checked out, my overall total was more than I expected and asked the cashier how much the Kit Kats were since they were under a $2.99 sign. This woman (I believe she is the manager) standing nearby w/ an attitude goes "we put that there to get ready for other items that we're going to replace it with". Why not just put the correct price sign and then switch it out when you do finish swapping out your products in that basket? Mind you, the baskets are right next to the cashier line, and there is a huge $2.99 sign right above. Looks like they want people to buy overstock right? This review is less of a rant over $6.99 KitKats but more of a rant about their stupid ideology behind organizing stuff in their store and staff attitude. read more

Holy smokes! Where do I begin... Cute stuff in store. Whole bunch of random plushies, houseware stuff and some snack items. A bit on the higher price side. You can find most of these things in Daiso/Ebisu/Teso. I went Sunday with family and tots. They bought some random stuffed animals and mini blind box stuff. They had a great time. What I didn't like: The cashiers. The attitude and disdain for the customers hit a low. Quite snappy too. Very unprofessionally screaming that they won't be taking cash. Only credit card and Apple Pay. They made side jokes to one another by the register. Being unprofessional yet again. Not a big deal to me but there were a bit of teens there and I'm sure they didn't have a credit card but most of them left. I would give zero star if I could. the worst miniso in terms of customer service. I was there with my two young kids. I was busy on the phone so i gave them money so they can pay for a couple of items themselves. but they forget to take one item they paid and left it at the cashier. When we realized it ( only three minutes later) we ran back to the store but the store said they didn't see it. we showed the receipt, we asked whether the video recording could be the proof, none!!!! Unless there was someone right behind us took it, it should be the people who worked there that took it! I cannot believe that those stores can let some people walk into the store and just take things without paying with no punishment , and then refuse to help customers who showed them the receipt and bluntly lied about things and ignore their patrons. The store also lacked price check machines and pricing on the products themselves. I was informed by a trainee that they do not honor falsely advertised prices and were unable to assist with the situation. Additionally, the selection was limited as a large portion of the store was filled with stuffed animals. However, there were still some good options for stationary, drinks, snacks, beauty products and home items. There was also a clearance section. It is located inside a new mall. The employee with the green hair literally yelled at me and my friend because we didn't see that he was mopping the floor. He yelled at us saying "didn't you see the sign?! I'm mopping" yet THERE WAS NO SIGN AT ALL. This was a tripping hazard for customers especially when it was a busy Sunday afternoon. I have no clue how this particular employee thought he had the right to yell at customers. Moments later, he yelled at another customer. I responded back to tell him that there was no sign.
