There are Miniso stores in Asia, Europe, Oceania, Africa, North America, and South America. Miniso sells household and consumer goods including plushies, cosmetics, stationery, toys like blind boxes, and kitchenware. They frequently collaborate with Marvel, Mickey and friends, Sanrio, Stitch, and Minions. Miniso is located on the ground floor in Tangram. Store is very organized, clean, and spacious. Prices are reasonable. Miniso had a Back to School Sale valid 7/4 to 8/31 where you can save 10% when you buy 3 or more items or 20% when you buy 5 or more from select product categories like stationery, backpacks, totes, lunch bags, cutlery sets, water bottles, bag charms, desktop storage, and charging accessories. I purchased 3 stationary items. When I checked out, staff were friendly. In the Atrium from July 26, 2025 - Aug 17, 2025, there was a One Piece x MINISO pop-up to shop for exclusive merchandise. It was cool to check out.

Having experienced the magic of Miniso for my time overseas, I had longed for the same thing in NYC for years. As luck would have it, it finally happened (#1) inside of Tangram, where it's been received with lukewarm reception ever since. Like the rest of the mall, it's bright, clean, and well organized. Flushing bizes tend to endure some level of crowding, but that hasn't been the case here. As many apt comparisons have been made already, Miniso is sort of like Daiso but with higher prices. They have a whole variety of seasonal things, which are fun to browse and peruse their latest selections. I am usually at Miniso looking for cheaper electronics (#2) but the selection isn't particularly great here. Instead, their kid friendly items are well stocked, making this a decent option for children's gifts. I think the biggest gripe here has to be the customer service. Many folks have pointed out the apathy and attitudes of the workers here, which has been hurting their bottom line. It might be worth exploring an overhaul of staff since quality customer service is essential to the ideal retail experience. __________ (#1) Of course it happens *after* I move away. (#2) Think phone accessories, battery packs, etc.

Shop is cute with lots of plushies and some Sanrio products. Prices for some of their home decor products were really expensive. Similar to Daiso/ Ebisu-Miniso merchandise were based at a higher price. As I went to the counter to pay for my purchase I witnessed the guest in front told the staff the product she wanted to buy was placed at the markdown table; staff informed the mark-down was a mistake; the customer than left emptied handed. So, markdowns here are pretty rare. Overall, an okay store within Tangram mall

We stopped into Miniso while shopping around Tangram. Loved it! Great selection of licensed character merchandise, some health and beauty, etc. I left with a variety of hair ties, a new lunch bag, some lip gloss, etc. I'm sure I'll be back the next time I'm at Tangram.

Miniso is a popular Chinese retail chain known for selling a variety of merchandise at low-cost prices and they just opened their second location in New York this past weekend. Miniso is located on the ground floor inside the Tangram building in the heart of Flushing. Practically 80 percent of their products are under ten bucks! They have a variety of everything: toys, makeup, Asian snacks, small household goods, pillows, cell phone accessories, stationary, etc. It was quite enjoyable perusing their aisles and finding random, fun stuff. The plushies and bento boxes were a must buy for me that day. The store isn't very large, but the layout is easy to understand. On the first day, not all of the items were marked with prices, so it was a bit of a guessing game on how much they cost. Hopefully, they fix that soon. Still, I ended with about $45 worth of goodies on my first visit.

Just opened! A new globally inspired lifestyle store. With some Kawaii cuteness thrown in. Started in China, they now have over 4,500 stores worldwide. Competition to Daiso? Not at this location. Much less variety and diversity of merchandise available. Most of Miniso's products are billed as under $10, with a few larger items between $10-$20, and a couple of things over $20. Hunt around, you might find something nice. Located in the new Tangram Flushing retail space, in the center atrium, right behind the enormous red 12 ft decorative ball. Watch a movie in the theater, then walk over to Miniso. Here they have a bit of everything, but not much in interesting variety or selection. Some kawaii mugs, basic hats, stuffed plushy animals, cute tiny decorative pillows, a few snacks and drinks, baby stuff, tiny backpacks, a few kitchenware items, cute storage containers, some basic electronic gear, tiny cute lamp, travel mugs, a lot of cute duck decorated items, pet products mostly leash/ collars, cotton swabs, hangers, markers, basic plastic bins, some exercise equipment like yoga mats, key chains, stuffed plushies are everywhere, etc. Now my personal experience there: Music is excruciatingly loud. I could barely hear the worker I was talking to. My ears started to hurt. I left without buying anything because of this. Pricing: 90% of the products do not have price tags. All you know is that most items are under $10, with a few closer to $20. I was told by a worker that if I wanted to know the exact price, I'd have to go over to the cashier area. I felt a few items that had prices, seemed a bit expensive, for what it is. Many items didn't seem unique, like Pocky sticks and Brookstone kitchen spatulas and spoons. 5 stars for their stuffed plushie collection! Super duper cute and unique! They have one shaped like a cup of boba tea. Not worth going if you have to wait to get in, but check it out if you happen to be in the atrium. Tip: Check out their online store to get a better idea of the price of items you maybe interested in.

Very cute discounted store! They have home items, a small pet section, lots of stuff animals, stationery, and toys. Yesterday, June 11, 2021 was their grand opening! Items are affordable and great to shop in. They do scan the bags and charge a fee. Double check your receipt in case they do charge you double.

Miniso is a retail chain from China that sells a lot of small every day items at low prices. This particular location is inside Flushing's Tangram mall. It appears to be a copycat of the Japanese Daiso chain, but a lesser version. They offer a much smaller variety of goods. Here they mainly sell plush dolls and snacks, with a small selection of household items (beauty items, stationery, kitchenware). Honestly, there's no reason to go here instead of Daiso.

Toy-lover paradise!!! They have the cutest plushie toys you can imagine and they're all at a reasonable price too (below 20$). They also have random asian snacks, home necessities, etc- similar to Tesolife or Daiso but more focused on toys. I would come here to buy a gift for a little kid or even for your girlfriend :)

This Miniso is located inside Tangram Mall in Flushing. It is the second NYC store. There is one in Soho. This one is a bit smaller compared to the SoHo location. They do have a bunch of cute items such as plushies, household goods, and snacks. The prices are decent. However, every time I come to this location, I feel like a lot of things are sold out or not fully stocked. It could be because it is always busy in the mall. But if you ever want to visit and love plushies, this is a place for you.

zero stars if i could. bought a $5 item at closing on Friday. manager said i could return it as we couldn't choose in time. came back the next day and the return is refused. exchange is refused. item is completely new and unopened. it is not about the money. it is my daughter hard earned money. instead, manager got into a yelling match. completely illogical saying if i can prove another company accepts returns he will do it. i pointed cvs does. then he threatens to put us in jail. laughable and i left. this is the policy posted. though beware. he told us it only applies if you don't leave the store. at least be polite about it.

Plushies seem to be the most popular item at this store. There's also a wall of Asian snacks and other various household items around the shop. Not as great of a selection compared to Daiso but the themed items sure are cute. I picked up some washi tape from their bubble tea collection that's displayed by the front entrance.

Be careful not to accidentally knock things down with your bag when you try dodging people's elbows hitting you on the side or trying to squeeze right through the aisle because they can't hear you saying excuse me for the thousandth time. Despite the store name being 99¢ and Less, nothing is actually 99 Cents and below as the price. If you ever need to pop in & get some last-minute stationary like pens, a plastic folder, or even a pad of paper....you know 99 Cents or Less got you covered. Quality wise also depends on the products you're getting. If you expect to find a really good pair of sturdy earrings or a beautiful designed birthday/holiday card from 99¢, ehh then this is probably not the best place you will find these things at. However, there's always an exception and that exception happens to be when I have strolled by the place after getting off the Q25 bus today. There's a basket filled with an assorted selection and all different colors of beanies right in front of the store. When you step inside, there's another basket of winter hats inside too. I have to really dig through a bit in the baskets in order to see what's good underneath especially that's how you sometimes find the goodies (wink wink). And what do you know? I did end up finding a thick beanie made out of polyester from each basket. It wraps my head all the way around and able to cover up my ears completely. Plus, the pink-gray-white color scheme looks stylish and not tacky plus easy to match with outfits. The fluffy faux fur pom pom at the top makes it more trendy, creating a cute and eye-catching detail to your winter essential item. Woohoo! Being able to find a thick, warm beanie nowadays is very important...making sure you won't catch a cold from the wind slapping in your face or the feeling of wind blowing from the back of your head. Of course I end up buying both beanies, wouldn't you? Lining up to pay doesn't take that long like maybe 5 minutes the max. I think it's cash only but please correct me if I happen to be wrong. The beanies are $5 each. Don't expect the staff to greet you with a smile, cuz you didn't go there for the service....you know you're there for the goods lol!

I came in to pick up a birthday card and birthday balloons. The aisles were organized. They had a good selection of Hallmark greeting cards. I purchased one for $1.00. By the cash registers, there is a balloon cage of balloons already prefilled. I told the cashier I would like 2 balloons. The balloons were $1.50 each. She unclipped all of them and let me choose which ones I wanted. I chose a balloon with a smiley face and one that saids Happy Birthday with stars. This store is your typical discount haven, except, well, it's a bit roomier than others, giving you extra space to navigate and marvel at the eclectic mix of items they offer. The owner is a gem--one of those friendly folks who's not afraid to let you know that he's about to shut down for the night. On one visit, he delivered the closing announcement with the kind of gentle firmness that only a true retail veteran can muster. I appreciated the heads-up; no one likes being caught mid-aisle when the lights go out. They've got all the essentials you need, from household goods to school supplies. Need a mop? Check. Running low on notebooks? They've got you covered. This store is a one-stop shop for pretty much everything you could use in daily life. But the pièce de résistance of Flushing Discount Store has to be their live betta fish section. Yes, you read that right. Nestled among the cleaning supplies and stationery are these vibrant little fish, each priced at a cool $4. You can also grab some fish food for another $4 and a small plastic tank for--you guessed it--$4. It's like a tiny aquatic ecosystem of bargains. I still remember my first encounter with this fishy phenomenon. It was during high school, and my sister, driven by an urge to adopt a betta fish, dragged me to this very store. There we were, standing in the glow of fluorescent lights, contemplating the lives of these $4 fish. I couldn't help but feel a pang of sympathy for them, swimming in circles in their plastic prisons. All in all, Flushing Discount Store is a quirky, budget-friendly wonderland where practicality meets the bizarre. Whether you're in desperate need of a mop, a math notebook, or a spur-of-the-moment fish adoption, this place has got you covered. Just make sure you don't lose track of time--unless you want to find yourself locked in with the betta fish!
