In reality, about 90% of the store is focused on products designed for the African American community. Since we both have curly hair, this actually turned out to be a positive aspect, as there is a huge variety of brands and options available for our hair type. The Korean beauty section was smaller than I expected, but out of the three products I was looking for, I was able to find two. Compared to TikTok shops, where you often have to pay for shipping, I felt the prices were reasonable and the convenience made it worth it. The store also offers a nice selection of face masks and some Korean makeup products. I downloaded their rewards app, but I found it poorly designed, not very user-friendly, and somewhat disorganized. In addition, the rewards program is not very appealing--you have to spend $100 to earn only $1 in rewards. The only truly disappointing part was the customer service. The staff was extremely cold and showed very little interest in helping customers, which negatively affected the overall shopping experience.

So, if you want some sort of house gift that nobody else in the area sells, The Tickin Ribbit might be for you. When I walked in I was given a warm and friendly greet though, because the owner or staff were visiting with friends, I didn't speak with them but just looked around. However, it was clear that this was there Grand Opening and I believe first full day in business.
