Unreliable and Unprofessional - Drivers Don't Turn Up for Pickup Unreliable. They used to be good but the last 2 times I've booked, they haven't showed up. Even after calling the rather unprofessionally manned office phone. Hard to believe -but they just don't turn up despite telling me on the phone that the driver is outside. Seriously? A rookie unreliable service. I ended up having to call an uber and the trip was actually cheaper than the price these guys quoted anyways. Do not use this company! The driver stole money from us taking cash when we had been billed on our credit card. After a Heathrow transfer to North London we went to pay. The driver insisted on cash. Being tired after a long flight we foolishly didn't ask for a receipt. When we have followed up, the company said the driver hasn't received cash from us! We went from thinking this was an honest mistake to outright being fleeced. We even gave the driver a tip as we felt bad about how long the trip took! read more

WARNING DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! One star is too many stars. I booked this service because of the positive reviews I had read - no doubt these were forged or the people who made them were just lucky. The only positive thing I can say about our taxi journey was that the driver picked us up on time. At the beginning of our journey our driver got lost due to the Blackwall tunnel being closed overnight. He then could not find his way to the airport and my partner had to redirect him several times. He also got into an altercation with another driver which involved the driver of the other vehicle throwing a bottle at our cab and our driver swerving and breaking hard, he got out of the vehicle and asked the other driver to do the same. The driver of the other vehicle drove off. It should be noticed that our driver incited this 'road rage' incident through his swerving to change lane in front of the other driver. The other driver began by saying 'you have customers in your car so you can't do that it's dangerous' and I couldn't agree more! During our journey our driver also drove the wrong way down the road towards an ambulance coming towards us. During our route he changed lane without indicating and didn't look for other vehicles before changing direction. He went the wrong way numerous times and had to be redirected and he stopped frequently on the motorway at junctions putting us in dangerous situations. He also stopped during our journey to fill up with fuel which delayed us further. The only reason my partner and I did not leave the vehicle is because (due to our driver not knowing where to go) we were concerned that we would miss our flight. As it was we made it to the airport just before check in closed. I have made a complaint on their website and through emailing them. I tried to call but no one answered. read more

Booked a can to take me to Heathrow. At the scheduled time, no cab. What's the point in pre-booking a cab if it shows up late. It was for 4:45am so there's excuse to not to be a few minutes early. read more

The driver did not read the address and he was late for 25 minutes. On the way to the airport, he stops in the middle of the countryside to fill up his tank. Since I complain to the company I never had any answer from them. They are cheap but forget about the service. read more

I booked cabs for a friend's hen party using this company - I booked 2 journeys, each with 3 cars. For the first trip, only one of the cars eventually arrived (nearly half an hour late) - the other two called me repeatedly, from half an hour before pick up time until 45 minutes after, asking where they were meant to be going (I had given details of the pick up when the booking was made). For the second trip (pick up time 8pm), I got a call at 8.05 saying that the cars had arrived. I asked if they could wait for 5 minutes for us to get down there and they said that would be fine. A few members of the party were downstairs at 8.10, and they called up to me to say they couldn't see the cabs anywhere. When I got down I gave them a ring, and they told me they had left as they 'had been waiting for ages'. I asked why they hadn't rung me again to let me know, and said that it couldn't have been 'ages' as people had been downstairs looking for them. The man then said that he wasn't sure whether he had been at the right address. Obviously I would advise against using this company. Total mess, and seemingly very little knowledge of London geography. At one point, I was asked again for the postcode of the first pick up (in Holborn) - I started with 'WC...' to which the driver replied 'OK, UUC...' Perhaps an A to Z would come in handy. read more

WARNING - THIS COMPANY DOES NOT USE ANY RECOGNISED SYSTEM FOR MONITORING FLIGHT ARRIVALS! I booked and pre-paid for a pick-up from Heathrow. The blurb says that flight times are monitored and the driver should be waiting 30 minutes after arrival. You should then be allowed an additional 30 minutes to exit, after which waiting time is charged at £8/hr. I agreed with the company that, in case of delays, the driver would be available 50 minutes after flight arrival. Sure enough, my flight landed 13 minutes late (landed at 6.23am, scheduled arrival time 6.10am). However the minicab company insisted that the flight had arrived 17 minutes EARLY (at 5.53am) and had sent the driver accordingly. No record of my request existed and I was charged an additional £16. The Heathrow airport website showed arrival time as 6.23am. I complained, but the company refused to reimburse me. I am not sure what "flight tracking system" they use, but if you don't want to get ripped off, find another company! read more

i reserved a car from them at 10:45 am in marylebone to go to london city airport. my parents and i were standing directly under the address number sign with a couple of suitcases which were more than clear that we were waiting for a car and more than a dozen empty taxies went by asking if we wanted a taxi. 2 minutes past the original pick up time, i called to see where the car was and i received an automated message saying the car was 2 minutes away which i assumed to be updated live. then another few minutes went by and no sign of a blue volkswagen car mentioned in the recorded message, i called again only to receive exactly the same message. then i pressed 0 to talk to a real person who told me the car was indeed on the same street just a few blocks away and asked for my patience considering the heavy traffic. then at 11:05, still no sign of the driver, called again and this time the person said he would have the driver call me directly. then a couple of minutes later, got a phone call from a random person telling me that the driver was actually at the address! i told him that we'd been standing here for all this time and didn't see any blue volkwagen car to which the guy said he'd check in with the driver again. then a couple of minutes later, the same random guy called saying the driver couldn't find a parking spot so went around the block which was a total lie since we were there for 25 minutes by that point and there were a couple of empty loading spots. that's when i said if the car didn't show up in 2 minutes, we were taking the next empty taxi. so now i'm sittung in a good old black london cab, writing this review letting you know that this minicab company is not only reliable but also lies to you. i just hope we will make it in time not to miss our flight after wasting 30 minutes agonizing! read more

A year ago I would have agreed with Debbie W. We have used this company several times In the past years with great success but their service has taken a nose dive. We used them 3 months ago. They were 30 minutes late. We could not find them at Costa so called and were told that the driver was on his way. He arrived 30 minutes later. We tried again last week and they were a no-show. Fortunately we did not pay in advance. A friend did pay in advance and the driver was also a no-show and is now trying to get a refund. Disappointing because it used to be a great economical way to get in and out of London. read more

I had used this company many times before, and accepted minor problems because of the low cost. However, the last time I used them I had a very rude driver who first told me I had to go meet him at departures (I had just arrived from a flight, with suitcases, pregnant and with a small child. The driver is supposed to meet me and help me with the suitcases), then said he'd come for me in 10 minutes, and took over 40 minutes to show up. Later he blamed it on me saying that I had given him the wrong terminal number (it is the office that gives the drivers the terminal number) and told me I had to pay an extra 5 pounds. Later I called the office and after two phone calls I finally was able to talk to the manager, who apologized and said that I could get a refund or they would discount it for the next trip. Silly me, I said I would rather have a discount the next time since I thought it would be easier. What a mistake. I made my booking a month later and called to ask for the 5 pound discount. The customer service on the phone kept me on hold and took a while to find my previous booking, and then said that there was no notes on the booking and the manager wasn't in, and wouldn't be in until the next afternoon (I called at 4:30pm, and my booking was for the next morning). He then became quite cheeky and rude telling me that 5 pounds was very little money and that it was costing me 2 pounds just talking to him! Therefore, we will be switching companies as low cost does not mean I have to accept rude service and broken promises. read more
