This time in particular was the first time I'd used a 26 footer and a car carrier, and Matt & Steven were just hands on helping me/guiding me through the installation process, being so patient through it all. Thank you both so much, thank everyone for being just absolutely wonderful. Oh, on top of that, we got upgraded because they ran out of the truck & dolly we originally ordered, and not only did we not get up charged, we got a discount. 10/10, I can not recommend this store enough for moving, postal service and storage needs.

To top it off, the movers I found fell thru and then Storage R US referred me to another mover who took the job on a Sunday with less than 24-hrs notice. I recommend this business to everyone for the amazing personal service and quality, cleanliness and safety of the storage facility.

Lack of office personnel on site for the full duration a normal business day (for example, 9am - 5 pm) as I have come to expect over the years. 2. The unexpected finding of a key-operated padlock on my unit door not allowing me to immediately access my unit on my first visit to the storage facility. 3. The lack of a door stop to hold the glass door to the climate-controlled storage building interior hallway open while loading/unloading the storage unit. This makes it difficult to move personal items from the vehicle outside to and from the unit. I had to use one of my boxes of items to keep the door open while moving other things in from my car. 4. The cramped driveway space inside the facility surrounding the storage buildings. It looks like it would be difficult for a large moving truck to maneuver around inside the gate without complicated, difficult and dangerous back-up procedures. It is certainly not enough space to accommodate a vehicle with a trailer without having to back up in some parts. Fortunately, I have a small automobile and just a few small items to store. 5. Upon moving out in the future, I may have to park my moving truck with auto-carrier attached outside the gate and use my dolly on about two round trips to retrieve my items from the unit. I don't feel there is enough room inside the facility grounds to easily maneuver a 26' moving van with an automobile-transport trailer attached. A good self-storage facility should provide adequate space for moving trucks and small trailers to easily get around without back-ups. There should be adequate space for turning large vehicles."

They have very fair prices, with different sizes to choose from. The staff was more than welcoming and informative when it came to signing up. Unfortunately, I no longer needed their services but they gave me a week to clear out the unit when most folks give you three days plus the paying of the month that you plan on ending your contract. Save yourself the trouble and STAY AWAY from this and their other branches around Ft Sill!!!…read more Storage R Us is so corrupt and dysfunctional that I have had to report this incident to Ft. Sill. Storage R Us in Lawton, OK in 2012 seemed friendly to the military and run by a respectable couple. I had coordinated to store both of my vehicles there as it was closer than the Dallas Government storage location. I had made an agreement that my vehicles would be Stored and started/moved each month. Six months into the agreement (as their logs show) they stopped maintaining the vehicles and failed to notify me the customer. They attempt to notify me in 2.5 years or even bring it up in the multiple phone conversations and emails yet continued to bill me as if they were complying. If notified I would have made other arrangements thus terminating my storage and leaving another of their units unoccupied. Thus, the vehicles went un-started for over two years. This resulted in over $2000 dollars of unscheduled maintenance and dry rotted gaskets and seals. Upon further inspection of the storage units, in which only Storage R Us had the keys, it was found that the car cover and stereo were both missing from the units. There response, "We are not responsible for the contents of a storage unit." I guess I should just be happy the car was still there. This establishment has no business dealing with the military or the general public in the future and they clearly say anything to get you in the door but fail to fulfill promises. service or even common courtesy. After trying numerous times to rectify the situation (just replacing the cover and radio) the company has stopped returning correspondence. I hope they truly appreciate this review as well as my continual support (sarcasm) by word of mouth.

The system will charge you another month's rent. I brought this to the attention of the workers. said there was nothing they can do. The app never updates, and when you pay, it doesn't show you paid. You will have to delete the app and then reinstall it. In addition, I rented a 10x10 and my rent went up 3 times in 6 months. I was never late and it was almost the same price as my 10x30. $113 for 10x30 and $100 for 10x10. I wouldn't recommend anyone I care about using this company. but it's a free county do as you please.

The staff was patient with all our questions (and the fact that I didn't even know that I needed to have a hitch ball or power adapter for my van...). All of their work was very efficient while still being safe, and they let us hover over them while they were hooking up the car so we could learn how to do it. We made it all the way from Oklahoma to Virginia smoothly. We even un-hooked and re-hooked the car successfully one time along the way! We hope they would be proud of us. Most important note is that the staff here is competent, super nice, and also hilarious. We had such a good experience at the store. We loved them. We want to work here. It seems like there are a few less-than-ideal reviews based on staff members from 2020 and earlier. As we all know, lots of businesses have a had a lot of employee turnover since 2020. When we were here, it seemed like a few new employees were being trained, and everyone we spoke to was absolutely great.
