How can I be the first to give them a review?? They have quite the following on fb, so hmm...Maybe…read moretheir fans don't want others to discover their "secret" select purveyor of fresh seafood. Norcal is a wholesaler, which also does retail, so you're getting it almost outta the ocean--other then buying it off the boat or fishing it outta the water yourself. So yeah it's all fresh and live. Nothing on ice here. They have huge holding tanks in the back of all the faves: Dungeness, New England Lobster, Spot Prawns, and Red King Crab, the King of the Kings, of which I've already bought two for my family's now annual indulgence. Btw, the Kings are from Norway, not Alaska. So they don't have the Deadliest Catch celebrity, but they do have the same DNA, taste and snarl. And prices are competitive. The Red King was $3 cheaper per pound than a shop in Oaktown Chinatown. (I'm Chinese, of course I comparison shopped!) They also offer some exotic fare. (Turbot anyone?) Check their website for a list. So come by and load up the suv with crates for your crab feast or any of the other kinds of sea feast. Or just snag a single crustacean for your couple's meal. It's all the way live...until you sink it into your boiling pot. And for those of you who had been keeping this place under wraps, sorry if I blew the cover off of this "secret."

Many folks including myself had no idea this place even existed..and so close to home. The guy who…read morehelped me was very informative and provided great service. They have it ALL ...live crab , great oysters,fish... highly recommend you at least check it out !

February 2026 On the second day of Lunar New Year, I…read morevisited your wholesale location in a festive and sincere spirit. I had prepared red envelopes to express appreciation for your hardworking staff, reflecting our long-standing business relationship. Upon arrival, I was pleased to see that your company had arranged a small buffet for employees. The warehouse staff were polite and exchanged festive greetings, creating a positive atmosphere. This reflected well on management and is worth acknowledging. However, an incident that followed severely disrupted what had been a pleasant morning. I must clearly identify that the staff member involved is the senior female employee from the back department responsible for vegetables senior lady ! This day she was standing their cut pork for customer and employee! she refused to provide proper portions to my employee, who was waiting in line appropriately. Instead, she directed her to take leftover scraps filled with excessive bone fragments. When I calmly asked for clarification, this staff member responded with a cold, impatient, and hostile attitude, demonstrating a complete lack of professionalism and basic respect. My employee feels like homeless need get her food ! As long-term customers and fellow business owners who consistently support your company, we expect fairness and respect, particularly during a festive occasion meant to reflect goodwill. As business operators ourselves, we understand that management culture directly affects reputation. What we witnessed today raises serious concerns regarding internal service standards and supervision. I respectfully request that management review this matter seriously and reinforce professional training to ensure equal and respectful treatment for all customers moving forward.

I have to practice a lot of self-restraint because there's always a fun find. We come here for the banchan and the kimbaps, but I've been known to sneak in some ice cream (they sell the viral Tu Cha goodies, but I only like the bing chillin bites). Veggies seem to be pretty fresh as well. There's also a rather large restaurant that takes up the center space, as well as a bakery. I've been eyeing the pound cakes and salt bread, but have yet to try. We typically come later at night or mid-day on a random weekday so the lines aren't bad and it's not super crowded. It's a bit out of the way for us, so it's not a typical stop and I'm not quite sure what it's like during peak times.

Amazing One-Stop Shop, But Expect Premium Prices!…read more I recently visited Jagalchi at Serramonte Center and was thoroughly impressed by how nice and upscale the entire space is. It functions as a true high-end Korean supermarket experience. I absolutely love the "one-stop shop" concept they have built here. It is incredibly convenient because everything you need is under one roof. Along with the grocery aisles, they have a fantastic bakery inside, a spot to grab a drink, and even a full restaurant right in the building. Having a beauty boutique inside as well makes it so easy to pick up your Korean skincare and cosmetic essentials during the same trip. The only major drawback is the cost--it is definitely an expensive market with heavily inflated prices compared to standard grocery stores. While the quality of everything is pristine and the unique food-hall vibe makes for a fantastic outing, you should definitely be prepared to pay a premium at checkout.
