No one bothered to call us and let us know about the face injury and I found out about it at pickup. Left because we all agreed West Lake could not provide the level of care we expected for our child. We offered to come pick up our child's belongings but they insisted they mail them to us. Weeks later we still don't have them and when my husband calls and asks he gets a different answer every time. I urge you to take your children elsewhere, the only reason this place gets good reviews is because they have negative ones deleted.

It was a very professional and nurturing environment, and we truly couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thanks to the strong foundation they received at Primrose West Lake, both of our children are thriving in elementary school and were well prepared academically and socially. I recently came across a negative review from Jenny E and felt compelled to share our positive experience. Please don't let a few hurtful comments overshadow the care, dedication, and excellence this school has built. We remain incredibly grateful for everything they've done for our family.

Specifically when our child experienced anxiety and sensory overload when arriving at school. Not only did the owners refuse to make even the smallest modifications to help, but they became rude and offensively critical. This was after they knew we were doing everything possible to help our child (which included seeking professionals for interventions and opinions). It turns out that the doctors we consulted recommended removing our child from their care. As an educator for my entire adult life, I find it appalling that these women consider themselves qualified to work with small children and am very thankful our new school is much more understanding and professional.

The school has been EXCELLENT!! His teachers Mrs. Tate and Mrs. Stephanie are so wonderful with him. They actually take time with him with little things like making sure his coat is on. It was such a relief to be able to drop him off and not have to worry. I'm almost sad he goes to kindergarten next year and he won't be attending here. Plus he has learned so much in the short time that he has been going here. He blew me away when he wrote his name. I'm all smiles and he is too when he goes to school. I don't have enough room on here to relay how grateful I am that I found this school for Mason. This was his first ever school experience and they just really helped him transition well. He loves it now.

So, I worked here and have been wanting to post this for a very long time…read more This camp is not somewhere I would send my child to. First of all, one of our activities and I have proof of this somewhere, was cleaning the barn stalls. Which I was "forced" to make the kids do. Second, the rabbits do not get proper care whatsoever. They live in a small shed with no hay and only pellets. They have pine shavings (which are harmful to rabbits) and rarely get time to run around. I have begged animal control to do something but the only thing I can do now is use my words. Rabbit teeth never stop growing, that's why they need hay. I will continue to call animal control until I know things are taken care of. I will continue to tell people what I know about this situation as it is animal abuse. Third, the small animal room is a joke. Those animals also do not get exactly what they need. It is a tooth and nail fight because the owner Jeff is completely cheap. Fourth, From 2019- now, I have heard several counselors tell me that Jeff yells at the kids during lunch. Or explains how horrible all of the food their parents give them is. Fifth, Jeff and I got into several disagreement about the scheduling with activity's for the kids. It was the same thing every day and the kids began to get bored like children do. Kids don't want to do the same nerf gun war every single day. Upon arrival in the morning your children basically help feed the animals which is great and all but this really isn't teaching them what you think. Send your kid to camp at the Hunts Center, Active Tracos, or Lifetime in Cary. There, your child won't be limited by what they can bring and you won't be supporting this.

It can be difficult to nail down a babysitter these days, so we like to utilize these options when needed. We have only been once, but our son loved it. The location is convenient for those living in Fuquay or Holly Springs and the hours are great too. We used them for a Thursday evening and had no issues dropping or picking up our son! I prepaid for some hours ahead of time which I think is a great option that they offer. Since we have some hours still left, we definitely will be back!

Primrose is one of those schools where front desk employees will say good morning to you when you walk in and wish you a wonderful day as you leave. You will see smiling faces in the hallways. When you walk in the hallway and peak into rooms, in one classroom you will observe teachers caring for infants with passion, in another room, there is a teacher reading a story with all the little ones on her lap, and if timing is right you will occasionally smell the yummy breakfast chef is cooking up in the kitchen. As for my son's and our family's personal experience with his classroom, we feel absolutely blessed and 100% grateful for his teachers and all the love, care, education, and structure they provide. It's a wonderful positive and well-balanced environment in which I believe every child is given the ability to grow and succeed. Look no further. I was eager to get our 3 year old in a program to give her some structure but also a a sense of family. At first glance primrose is elegant. I was impresses by the classical music and clean hardwood floors. I was sold! My daughter was equally as excited as I was for her to start. The first couple days my kiddo came home crying. She mentioned the boys were hitting her. I really just thought maybe she had to get used to going and maybe she was looking too much into horse play. I went early one day to pick her up and saw a very young teacher sitting with her hand on her chin as though she was bored and my kid was half naked in the bathroom with another little girl. When the teacher saw me she perked up and yelled my daughters name to hurry up as if she was doing something wrong. I was annoyed but really gave her the benefit of the doubt. Again my daughter would come home crying. Said her teachers would get mad and not tell the boys to stop hitting. It wasn't until I finally spoke with the teacher that really solidified my feelings. She had to be 20 years old which u wouldn't mind ha she not completely dismissed by my concerns and blankly stared at my questions. Her assistant was equally as vacant but more so had a grudge that I would even begin to question their supervision. As I was chatting with her she yelled in to another kiddo " did I tell you you could climb up the slide..... No!". She was clearly not used to speaking to 3 year olds in a way to discipline but also not break their little spirits. I ended up taking my daughter out and it wasn't until I enrolled her in a good preschool had a realized how amazing her experience could be! After moving from NJ we were in search of school here in NC that would be like a second home to our children. The teachers are exceptional--not only are they caring and dedicated, but their guidance, support, and expertise have meant so much to our family. We trust and appreciate their advice and the positive influence they have had on our children's growth, both academically and personally. The care that each teacher provided not only to our children but to us parents, as well, is priceless. The before and aftercare program has been a tremendous benefit for our family. It's reliable, well-organized, and provides a safe, engaging environment where our children are excited to spend time each day. What makes this school so special is its commitment to teaching strong principles and values. Kindness, respect, responsibility, and compassion are woven into everything they do, helping children build not only academic skills but also strong character. We couldn't be happier with our experience and wholeheartedly recommend this preschool to any family looking for a place where their child will be loved, encouraged, and inspired every day.
