I went to AsheBridge in June 2018 to enroll my son. The costs, as a private school, are higher than…read moreaverage but I was willing to pay this. Our tour was very brief and I was not introduced to the teachers or told much about the daily schedules. Still, I was in a rush to find childcare for my son, so I asked them about his egg allergy. He is allergic to eggs, it's a medical condition and I can provide proof of this. Well, here's where things went awry. The woman got squeamish and was like "ohhh, I don't know what we would do then, I'm not sure how we could help him". I examined the menu and only 2 or 3 things in their entire breakfast/lunch/snack list had egg products to begin with, I asked if he could get something from another day on those days. She said sometimes they don't actually serve what is on that list "because they might not send that." Ok, I then suggested I send him with labeled foods from home like yogurt pouches... something so benign nobody is allergic. "Oh no we don't allow outside foods." So my only option is my child starves those days? Is he really the only child you've ever come across with an allergy? You don't have a procedure for this? She told me the outside food policy, ironically, was to protect allergic children. I proposed that I would submit a list of his potential foods to them in advance, and never stray from that. She was hearing none of it. Just kept repeating "no outside foods" like a robot. We left it at she would investigate and call me. She did not. I called her though. I called several times over the next 3 weeks and no callback or response. When I finally caught her on the line, she told me they could not accommodate my son's egg allergy. I said "so you are declining to offer him enrollment on the basis of his medical condition?" "Uh no umm.. no no no". She backtracked and after some back and forth, said she "misunderstood" and asked me to send her the foods I proposed I bring in, so she could show the director. My son is a sweet little toddler who loves everybodyHe just can't eat eggs. If AsheBridge won't just NOT feed him eggs, that's obviously not the place for him anyway. For what it's worth, he's now at another nearby private school and the convo was as simple as "he's allergic to eggs" "oh no problem! We will feed him something else when there's eggs on the menu!". UPDATE: The response from the owner to my review is a blatant lie. I was never afforded the opportunity to bring my son labeled, store bought foods for lunch, and NEVER suggested that I bring him homemade foods. I was told "due to the fact that we are a private school, we can make choices like no outside foods to protect our community of children". No outside foods, and no alternatives from their own menu meant my son would not be able to be accommodated, I asked repeatedly for clarification and ultimately was told yes, that is true. Only after I threatened to write this review, was this recanted. It was truly sad because my son deserved the opportunity to be treated equally.

After moving from NJ we were in search of school here in NC that would be like a second home to our children. The teachers are exceptional--not only are they caring and dedicated, but their guidance, support, and expertise have meant so much to our family. We trust and appreciate their advice and the positive influence they have had on our children's growth, both academically and personally. The care that each teacher provided not only to our children but to us parents, as well, is priceless. The before and aftercare program has been a tremendous benefit for our family. It's reliable, well-organized, and provides a safe, engaging environment where our children are excited to spend time each day. What makes this school so special is its commitment to teaching strong principles and values. Kindness, respect, responsibility, and compassion are woven into everything they do, helping children build not only academic skills but also strong character. We couldn't be happier with our experience and wholeheartedly recommend this preschool to any family looking for a place where their child will be loved, encouraged, and inspired every day.

The curriculum has been outstanding and our daughter frequently comes home talking about what she learned that day. From lessons in sharing, English, math, and simply being a citizen of the world Magnolia has done a great job. Their facility is full of fun and educational materials. Every inch is meaningful utilized to spark learning and play. The team is top notch and has made our child feel seen, loved, and nurtured. We consider Ms. Marie and MS. My Husband and I are very happy to have our 2-year-old being with ChesterBrook Academy Preshool in…read moreCary. We were just moving to Cary from out of state for a week when our little one started in Chesterbrook. And our little one dislike going to school at the beginning. The teachers in ChesterBrook gave us a very detail and warm welcome which helping the whole on-boarding proceed going smoothly. Our little one already join Chesterbrook for about 2 months. We saw a lot of growing from his daily life, from helping cleaning up the room and keeping toys organized, to picking up more and more English words (we are speaking my motherland language only at home so our 2-year-old didn't speak of any English before). The teachers and director are all very experienced and loving kids. They have all the good personals as we expect. The teacher ratio for 2-3 years old are up to 1:6. We see 1:4 now. This is also a reason why we choose Chesterbrook at the first choice. By the way, the school is very clean. I can't enter the school room at all since the Corvid-19 's policy. But I can tell that they set a high bar in cleanness level , from three things: kids will be applied with hand sanitizer and check Temperature before they were drop-off. Secondly, our little one is very clean when we picked him up (kids will paint, playing every day, teacher must have do a lot of works to cleaning them up ); the third, our little one didn't get sick yet after joining Chesterbrook so far. He is a health boy. But he still got sick and made my husband and I got flu last year at the beginning when he started in his previous daycare in California. but so far so good in Chesterbrook. We are recommending Chesterbrook Academy to our friends.

As the reviews you are seeing on this page regarding Chesterbrook Academy, I wish my daughter had…read morethe privilege to experience this as well. Unfortunately, they did not provide the best care. If I could give this Academy a 0 stars, I would. I debated on doing this review, because I really had high hopes especially with this being 5 stars AND in a good neighborhood. Recently I moved back to NC from OH, and I was always skeptical of daycare, so I kept my daughter at home with me. Well, her father and I agreed it was time for her to go. I called Chesterbrook earlier this year in May, and then in September they had an infant opening. So, Ms. Susan Moore had given my mother and I a tour late September. I thought everything was so nice and she was amazing! Well, my daughter started October 9th, and after that day she did not return. For as Ms. Jasmine was her teacher, and there were several things that bothered me. I would find my daughter's behavior somewhat acceptable if she never went to daycare, but she has always gone to my church daycare and not once did she ever act this way. Once I gave my daughter to Ms. Jasmine she was crying and screaming...literally? I thought well maybe that's because she's new? Nope. She cried the entire day. Now, I understood that Ms. Jasmine was new, but she only had two infants, my daughter (who could crawl) and another baby that laid on her back (she couldn't crawl). So, I grabbed my daughter and continued to hold her till I left. I made my daughter a whole feeding plan and explained to Ms. Jasmine step by step how to feed my daughter. She gave my daughter just turkey? then hours later gave her the fruits and vegetables, but that wasn't how I explained it to her? So, when I asked her why didn't she follow the feeding plan, her remarks were, "I forgot". So, when I viewed my daughter's chart. They changed her around 9:45ish AM, then 1 something, and then right around I came to pick her up which was 3:30. I was so confused. THEN, Ms. Jasmine was not wearing no SHOES or SOCKS and her feet were all on the carpet, by the children's toys, and when I looked at her as she was sitting on the carpet, her bare feet was in close proximity to my daughters face. I was disgusted. For I think when you are working in childcare there is a certain way a person is to be presented, I mean in my opinion. I, then continued to walk to Ms. Susan Moore (the Assistant Principal) and ask her was Ms. Jasmine supposed to wear socks and shoes? with booties on? She proceeded to tell me that she was in fact supposed too, and that she would remind her to put something on her feet. Well, I as came to pick my daughter up, she was not wearing any socks, shoes, or booties. Ms. Jasmine was in front of my child, and her nose was running till her snot was in her mouth, while Ms. Jasmine was IN FRONT of her, but attending to the other child. I picked my child up. She wasn't wearing any socks. She had paint on her shirt. AND when I asked for a tissue, she gave me a hard paper towel to wipe my childs nose. My baby looked miserable, and I left her in the worst care thinking she was going to be taken cared of. Nope. I then proceeded to make the decision that my daughter would no longer attend this Academy. As I was coming to get her things, and they didn't include everything. One of the staff members made a comment, "I mean she only did stay for one day " and rolled her eyes at me. I was upset, but I just kept going on about my business. I say this to say, this place is only about the money. They do not care about the children or the families, and just because they are 5 stars...doesn't mean they are legit. I was willing to pay $410 a month, but I'm glad it didn't work out.
