Dr. Mui has always been extremely supportive and concerned with my well-being. She never pushed any medication on me that I wasn't comfortable with taking and she always followed up to make sure everything was okay. She went above and beyond for me to make sure that I was okay and improving and actually worked with my psychologist to make sure I was obtaining the best possible treatment. In conjunction with my psychologist, Dr. Mui saved my life. I will always recommend her to anyone that's looking for help. The one and only drawback to Dr. Mui is that she doesn't accept any insurance. But it's really because she's just that good. If you really need help and you're willing to pay for the best help available, Dr. Mui is IT.

She will return calls the same day and will teleconference if you should you need anything in between appointments. Lol The receptionist was quick to respond to my emails regarding the new patient paperwork, and called me the next day to schedule my appointment. The availability was awesome and ease of getting a appointment was refreshing, but both times when the receptionist called me to schedule and when I was called an hour before my appointment to 'check in' staff weren't overly friendly and made no attempt at establishing any type of 'rapport.' Dr. Glenn Humphress was the psychiatric physician assistant whom I spoke with and who got to know a little bit about me and making some medication recommendations. He was very 'to the point' but was genuine/nice as well. He spoke carefully as to not offend throughout the process and was able to thoroughly talk through medication options and routes we could take. Looking forward to booking my next appointment!

The portal is just so cold and impersonal. $150 for a 10 minute consultation with a PA, just to be pushed into getting upset, and feel inhuman by the staff. I've never met my psychiatrist. He is just a name in to portal. I've traded messages with the names in the portal. I would assume that in a mental health clinic, they would understand the patient issues coming in and to be able to act appropriately. NOPE. They are rude, insensitive, and are more interested in paperwork and holding your "treatment" hostage, until they get you to fill out the paperwork you have already filled out multiple times. Then they coldly just close the glass window and hide from you. Yes, that is what they choose to do to "de-escalate" a situation. They shut the glass window on you, and argue and threaten you when you re open their special window. It seems to me that this is just a pill brokerage. It seems more about the money and pushing meds. It's not about helping you solve or get control of your issue. I truly feel like they want me to go somewhere else for "treatment". Because they really do not seem to care about anything but their policies, paperwork, pushing the latest pills some pharma rep pays them off to prescribe. The last attempt to a med change was going to cost me $800 per month, when my current prescription cost less than $10. If I could give negative stars, I would.
