Told me to fuck off and go to IOP. Don't go to Dr. Mathur. She invalidated my feelings about my old psychiatrist telling me I would overdose, and said I have no reason to be upset. She also told me to not drink so much caffeine because it adds to the anxiety (I have one caffeinated drink every few days). Also told me she wouldn't be refilling my medications, and then said my only option is IOP when therapy and my meds have been working. Mindpath and everyone who works for them can go fuck themselves. DO FUCKING BETTER!!! You dont preach that patients need stability and then dump them the first visit. Don't be assholes. read more

Called me the morning of my appointment at 7:40am (20 minutes before my first telehealth session) to tell me the session was cancelled because I didn't fill in the intake paperwork - except I DID fill out the intake paperwork. Then the guy told me that if I don't fill out the intake paperwork all over again in the next 20 minutes they're cancelling my appointment. Keep in mind I called Mindpath health in crisis. So I jumped out of bed to begin filling out the intake paperwork all over again, and then the guy found my original intake paperwork ten minutes later. I guess, "just kidding"? In response, I cancelled all future sessions and told Mindpath health and the provider that I was done with them over such unprofessional treatment - Mindpath health front office staff destroyed the therapeutic environment before the first session even began. Now they have the gall to have a third party send me emails at 1am demanding payment for this fiasco. Stay FAR away from Mindpath Health. read more

I didn't know it was possible to care so little about your patients. From making the appointment to attempting to pay the bill, I was constantly surprised at their ability to one up themselves on the disfunction and disorganization of their company. I had to get a callback to make and appointment and it took over 20 minutes. They called me for things they forgot to ask after that. The doctor said some biased old school things, like girls don't have ___. In the end he said he had no idea and would send me a referral for testing. I got the most generic boiler plate email covering every possible mental issue, locations for the entire state of CA, and every insurance plan. He didn't even tell what kind of testing to request. Such a waste of time. Then I get an email that I have a bill, but I can't access the bill, and it's from an external company. After attempting to contact their support over and over, I realized it is all AI and there is no way to talk to a person. When you're trying to reach out for help, this should not be the experience. Now I'm back to square one finding a better company/doctor. So much for "do no harm." read more

Strap in because this is a doozy, a few weeks ago, my boyfriend checked the status on his Ritalin and found that he wouldn't be able to get it until May due to shortages. Of course, as this is some thing he needs he was concerned and called his doctor. He told his doctor he was experiencing withdrawals as is common for amphetamine-based medication's. His doctor seemed to not believe him and not understand why he would be withdrawing. He then suggested a different medication, and after the trial period of that was over, we received a notification saying that the Ritalin would be ready and was just waiting for insurance approval. We called the office and spoke to the receptionist, who could not possibly grasp what we were talking about for some strange reason. Eventually, we called a representative from our insurance and had her on a call with the receptionist. The receptionist was unaware that we were present in the phone call and started to say terrible things and how we wouldn't stop calling (we called twice), called his mother some not so nice names and she insisted he didn't even need the medication. Overall very bad experience from medical professionals. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PRACTICE!! read more

I am amazed with the lack of professionalism this medical has with the people who schedule the patience. I had called with an emergency situation that required a doctor for a minor in my care and she asks me the most ridiculous questions that I had answered previously in the conversation we had. Then she leaves me on hold for 6 minutes and comes back to tell me they have 2 doctors that will take my insurance and the first appointments were November 16th and December 8th. What a joke to call and explain the situation as being very important, and they blow you of for a month or two. This is the situation with our medical profession, they don't care if you're in need of care, it's the fact what will the insurance pay me$$$. Over the last two months I have had the privilege of having Cami Hernandez as my TMS tech. During this dark time, she showed me nothing but compassion, understanding, empathy, and humor. With her remarkable fashion sense, flair for the unique, and stimulating conversation, she was a pleasure to have as a guide through TMS treatment. She made the dark time all the more bearable. As mentioned by others I didn't even make it to my first appointment. The staff is horrific and make a day at the dmv a picnic compared to dealing with them. They are now trying to charge me 50 bucks for an appointment I never had nor got the zoom link to--even though I followed up twice to get it. They give you the run around and you can never actually speak to someone in charge nor knows what they are doing. My insurance provider had to get involved and spoke to their manager who would not budge on a $50 late fee for an appointment I tried to cancel several times. When the insurance wrap mentioned that I would be filing a complaint the manager laughed and hung up on the call. Is this the behavior of a professional business? I had to file a complaint with the medical board against them, and consumer affairs. They have shady business practices and during a pandemic being this inflexible and unethical is plain gross. Calabasas TMS therapy review My depression and anxiety has been a struggle for a very very long time and I've tried a multitude of medications, I was running out of options and happened to come a cross TMS therapy on the Internet, researched it, and since I live in The valley I discovered The TMS center in CALABASAS. All I can do is write this review like it happened and say what a wonderful experience I have had! Dr. Mindy and her staff are fantastic!!!! Very friendly and easy to work with, the facility is also very comfortable for the series of daily treatments. They have a large flat screens in the treatment rooms that play Netflix or your choice of scenic Dvd. All I know is before coming to see Dr. Mindy I was very depressed and anxious all the time and now after completing treatment I'm no longer feeling that way and feel normal for the first time in a long time! TMS has improved the quality of my life in a profound way. If you are on the fence about TMS, don't be! It was the best decision I ever made! Coming to see Dr. Mindy was a phenomenal experience! The overall attention to detail and the level of overall interest by her and the staff was very comforting. I knew I was in good hands from day 1. would highly recommend this place to everyone who is struggling with depression and anxiety! Honestly, There should be more awesome people like Hali who helped me today. I was looking for a doctor and just some guidance in general about what kind of doctor for a family member. I called Calabasas TMS center and spoke to Hali who was able to guide me about the whole topic in general. Although all the doctors in the facilities were booked up until October she still was able to refer me to another doctor who they are affliated with. I would have given a 1 star but with the COVID they get a break here. I was meeting with Dr. Robert Feeley on a very regular basis last year and decided to schedule an appointment to see him again. Apparently I'm no longer in the system and I was told I'd need to call their intake department as a new patient. Ok fine no problem. I go ahead and do that and then they say now you need to call this other number to schedule an appointment with Dr. Feeley. I call again and the lady advises me since it's been so long I'm considered a new patient and Dr. Feeley is not taking new patients. She then says you need to call the new patient intake department AGAIN for them to find me someone else. This process has been completely unacceptable and ridiculous. Thank God I don't need psychotic medication or anything serious here. Now I have to find a completely new doctor. Get your shit together so patients can easily schedule an appointment! What a joke of an office this has become. Very disappointed. read more

I have no idea what is going on with the billing side of this company. The psychiatrist was fine and would recommend them on that but their billing issues need to be addressed. I switched insurance the new year and prior to my appointment they sent a email with a link to submit new insurance information prior to my appointment, which I did. Did my appointment and received a call a week later that they never received my new insurance info so I gave them my new info only to learn it was not covered and received a $380 bill. That was back in early February, since than I have contacted the number on the bill to file a complaint and was told a supervisor will get in contact with me soon. Than I got an automated call saying I had another appointment, which I never even made, and canceled over the phone. Luckily I caught this or I would have been charged a ~$70 dollar no show fee. Than I get a call asking if I want to reschedule and informed them that they no longer take my insurance and I never even made that appointment. I inform them of my previous complaint and get an email a week later saying they bring it up to this supervisor. Finally last week I get another call from a Michigan phone number asking me about my unpaid bill. I informed him of my previous 2 complaints and that I'm waiting to hear back from a supervisor. He informed that he was unaware of these complaints and I again was told he would contact his supervisor and they would address this issue and contact me soon. That was over a week ago and I have still yet to be contacted my this so called supervisor and don't know what else to do. There is clearly a miscommunication issue with this company and if I could finally hear back from this supervisor every employee refers me to that would be great. *update* I finally was contact a supervisor by calling yet again and was told that it was patient responsibility to make sure if it's covered by my insurance. I said to her that "normally when you make an appointment with a clinic that they check you insurance information prior to see if your covered, are you telling me that his company will let you go through with an appointment, knowing the patient is not covered, and send them a bill in full later?" Money, money, money was the only thing that was able to be discussed when trying to make an appointment or see if a doctor was available to see new patients. First, I need to start by saying I did not receive services from this office. I write this review because of the genuine kindness I have received, as a complete stranger, who happened to call in need of help for a relative of mine looking for TMS therapy for dementia. Dr. Crohn was upfront and honest with me regarding help for my uncle. He wasn't one to try to "sell" me a treatment. In fact, he went above and beyond to help me gather information to make an educated/informed decision regarding treatment by taking (precious) time to call around to colleagues and other experts in the field. Then he referred me to someone else that he knew would be the right match. Truly a good guy. If I ever needed treatment for the issues they address, these guys would be my first choice. Dr. Crohn, Dr. Mindy and the entire staff were amazing at Calabasas Behavioral Health. My son went through TMS treatment 2 years ago, after being in a deep depression & with absolutely no help from meds. His talk therapy outside this office helped to some extent, but ultimately, the contact with these fantastic people & TMS "broke the back" of his debilitating condition. He is well and strong now thanks to this wonderful group of caring people... Dr. Crohn has recently taken his own time to help my nephew find help, albeit outside his office & therefore no monetary incentive. My nephew is a student on Medi Cal. There is no reason other than being a good human to go to the lengths he has to help a person in need. Thank you from the bottom of a mother's heart. read more

I recently completed 24 treatment of TMS with Achieve. I have suffered from depression all of my life and medications only have worked short term and then I have to change again. A nightmare!! TMS works! I did not feel any significant difference until after the 21st treatment; however, at that time the difference was very noticeable. I am told that even though my treatments have ended I will continue to feel improvement. The people that work at achieve are amazing!!! I visited both the La Jolla office and the Carlsbad office and everyone is so caring and pleasant and extremely professional. I felt very comfortable under such a personal situation. I would recommend this to anyone who is or has suffered as myself with the devastation that severe depression causes in our lives. It does work!! The other great news is that most major insurance companies cover this therapy. read more

With all the good reviews, I was excited to find this place. However, I never even made it to my first appointment. I answered all their intake questions, verified my insurance information, their in network status and scheduled an appointment. Then they said an intake appointment costs $290 and I'd have to pay it in full upfront. That seemed high so I double checked with insurance. Contracted rate for an intake appointment with medication management is $175 and I should only ever pay my coinsurance, 20% upfront, and have the office bill insurance for the rest because the office may not have accurate info about whether I have met my deductible. So I called back to discuss these issues. I was told $290 was their rate and that my insurance must have different contracted rates with different offices. No, that's not how this works. I was also told their policy is to always charge in full upfront and then bill insurance after. I was told if I had in fact met my deductible, they would then refund any excess payment. Right. A, after the way things have gone so far, I highly doubt they would in fact reimburse me on their own and B, paying upfront and waiting for reimbursement means I am out a lot of money for however long that process takes. Their billing practices seem super shady to me. I was able to find a different psychiatrist office that, without even being asked while I was scheduling the appointment, confirmed exactly what my insurance company said. $175 for intake and they only charge coinsurance the day of the appointment and will bill for the remainder later if it turns out I hadn't met my deductible yet. read more

I had clinical depression for over 4 decades, despite several trials of drugs and therapy. After my TMS treatment at CBH I feel much better than I could have imagined. (It would take 5 paragraphs to explain exactly how TMS makes me feel better.) Everyone on the staff is naturally warm and compassionate. CBH takes a holistic approach, and goes the extra mile by teaming up with your physician and therapist. They also work closely with your insurance company (if CBH and TMS are on your insurance plan) to get the best treatment possible for you, an arduous task at best.
