Their opening hours can be a bit erratic and it's very hard to find (or find out about) if you don't know where it is, but once you locate their elusive front door entrance, you're alright. The best feature of Streetwise is that it gives out free condoms to under 25s, you just need to fill in a simple membership form and you're good to drop in whenever you want. More people should know about it.

It's worth buying crisps, chocolate and cans of pop here since they are less than half the price compared to your average newsagent. The reason they are so cheap is because the cafe is run by elderly volunteers working for Age Concern. It does take them a while to process your order and they get confused very easily but you get served before the coffee gets cold. The cafe is fairly small and gets full easily. If you are anywhere near below 60 and the senile scene isn't your thing then good riddance to you, young fool.
