I've had at least some contact with almost every teacher here and have really seen amazing work. As a student teacher in the area, I worked in Greenfield, Brookfield, Wauwatosa, Franklin, and Milwaukee schools and this one has been my favorite. The families here are very supportive of the unique education their children are blessed to have. If you are looking at possible schools for your child, research immersion style learning and see if it is for your family. All topics are taught in German from pre-K onward all day. The kids pick it up through exposure and practice as they enter upper classes. English instruction starts in 2nd grade. Many think the children will be behind - not the case. The school actually has above average scores in all content areas. They still can speak English fine because they hear it outside of school and begin an understanding of language structure from being taught mechanics of it. The kids here are also exceptional. Much fewer issues than other schools. Good neighborhood too. If you plan to enroll the cut off age is 1st grade or they are too far behind. There is also a waitlist, so enroll as soon as enrollment opens up!

The focus on values like kindness, responsibility, and respect has made a big impression on our child and on us as parents. We plan to send our youngest to K4 next fall, as well. The facilities are modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed, providing a safe and inspiring environment for learning and play. The After School Program provides a perfect solution if you need to pick your child up later after work. It's led by teachers and staff at the school and our kids love it. Above all, the strong sense of community and faith-based support makes us feel deeply connected and welcomed. We couldn't be happier to be part of the St. Gabriel family.

I find the staff very friendly and they help her stay on track for math at her grade level. The center director Anu and her husband go above and beyond to help the kids there learn math. The mathnasium program teaches the core principles and they are constantly doing a recheck to make sure the information and processes are understood. My sons scores have improved and his confidence with math has also increased. (He actually said "math is fun!" after a session). I like that they are able to try teaching different tactics to understand material and don't just brush past and keep going without making sure the student understands material.

Her reading and math skills have progressed at such a fast pace. My daughter is in Kindergarten, but is reading at a mid 1st grade level, and similarly with Math. Kumon is definitely repetitive and there is daily homework, but the idea is that it become a daily habit. We treat it as such, just like you would going to the gym. We have absolutely seen the reward! The staff at this center is amazing. Yogita, the Director, truly cares for the kids. She is available for a phone call whenever I have a question or concern, and she is very responsive via email. They provide in person classes and also classes via zoom. They are very conscious about COVID precautions. All in all, I am so glad I met Yogita and her staff and am so thankful for their support in teaching and challenging my daughter to be the best that she can, while still making it fun!

In only 4 months, we are already seeing her make huge gains! I love the phonetic approach to reading as well as focus on math facts that build as proficiency is gained. My daughter is reading books now (I.e. Amelia Bedelia and Rabbit and Bear) and confidently adding up to 5s. It is awesome watching her grow as she tries to read signs while we travel about as well as calculate how much she needs/would have left when shopping. My daughter loves going to this center to work with the teachers. I have had nothing but good experiences with Yogita Mohan from pre-enrollment and as we continue to support my daughter's learning. Kumon has definitely helped her grow skills and confidence academically. I highly recommend this center for anyone looking to increase their child's academic skills in both reading and math!
