I made my first friends at Rice through the football team. If you are considering sending your child to Rice, I urge them to play a fall sport, as they will get to meet people and create friends before the school year starts as the season starts before the school year does. Throughout my four years here I have developed some of my closest relationships in my life, and will truly cherish these friendships. Also one of the things that I love about Rice, is that the teachers here will go out of their way to help you, and it is very easy to build a relationship and trust with a teacher here. Rice, also does an amazing job of preparing students for college, more than 90% of seniors at Rice this year are attending college. I highly recommend any parent considering sending their child to Rice to do so.
