The university is the oldest in Vermont and the fifth-oldest in New England. It is among the oldest in the United States and is one of the original eight Public League Universities. My dear friend's daughter is in her senior year. It's going to be hard to say goodbye to our campus visits. It is a beautiful campus to visit and fun activities nearby like the Teddy Bear Factory and Maple Syrup Factory. If you stay near campus at a AirB&B it may be a home with historic charm. Plan your visits because graduation comes around quickly and you want to document your fond memories! The downside is the placement office. Don't expect much assistance finding employment in your chosen field when you graduate! Start planning in advance!

Just the trip TO the school was a beautiful drive, but arriving in Burlington and walking around town was really great. We did do an official tour and the campus itself is beautiful. Our tour guide did an excellent job with our fairly large group and was able to answer all our questions. Dorms were...well they were dorm rooms, but some of the residence halls are actually quite nice. Unfortunately, I don't think this was the right 'fit' for my son so it's unlikely that he will end up here as a student, but it had more to do with the makeup of the academic program he was interested in rather than him not liking the campus. Seriously, this is really a beautiful campus with access to great outdoor activities in all seasons. Reduced price ski trips for students, great activities ON campus, and so much to do in town. Burlington is a great town with LOTS of great places to eat and drink...lots of local brews to enjoy if you are into craft beers as well.

I started with SAV last fall (2017). Went "live" in January 2018. Now have 2 commercial VO gigs…read moreto my resume, two short novels, 4 audiobooks, and 2 more in queue. (It is May 14, 2018 as I type this). SAV staff are available for everything and hold your hand (if needed) but definitely help and guide you all the way through the program. The coaching is great, the support is great, but the RESOURCES are incredible. Since then, I have explored many other sites, and "cherry picked" a class or a podcast here and there, but nothing is as comprehensive as SAV. That being said, you have to WANT IT, and you have to WORK AT IT. Break a lip!!!

Ambience puts it right next to the national guard base so you have fighter jets doing low altitude maneuvers over the campus that causes the buildings to shake. Dorm halls lack air conditioning, giving the hall Alumni the nickname "Slum-ni" and the tuition is overpriced for the degrees

I had a Class B CDL but took the upgrade to Class A course. I was a bit worried because I hadn't…read moredriven standard shift for a long time and with the big rigs you have to also learn how to double-clutch with 10 gears so it's harder than learning to drive a stick shift car. However, the instructors here were very patient and good at explaining things to me in great detail, if needed. They're very knowledgeable about driving tractor-trailers and the industry in general. Thanks to them I was able to pass the VT CDL Class A Road Test on my first try!

My son was with ICS for 3 years, and while at ICS he has grown in so many amazing areas. Not just…read moreacademically but also socially. He would come home every day from school waiting to show his dad and I what he had learned. I remember how he became sad when the weekends would arrived; he would ask me why the school had to close on the weekend. Honestly, if ICS were open on the weekends he would be there. I am so thankful for the hard work and attention Ms. Khouri gives to all the children.They truly LOVE learning...They learned about Composers, famous Artists, Countries, they also learned 3 different languages, Spanish, French and Chinese, they had yoga class, taekwondo, and dance class while my son was attending, they also learned about the human body and how it works, so fantastic..
