I cannot stress how chill and nice he was. The course was taking a toll on my physical and mental health, but Scottie's cheerful optimism kept me going. He truly embodies positive energy and makes lectures so much more bearable. His storytelling and advice were very eye-opening as well. I regret not approaching him for help more often. However, unsurprisingly, it's very rigorous. For anyone looking at an 8-week course, you will spend 20 hours a week: 10 hours on lectures (MW or TTh; 5 hours each) and 10 on skills (Sunday); of course, with breaks in between. Lectures will cover 6 chapters per week, and you will take lecture exams every weekend on the day of your skills instruction. You should be able to dedicate a huge amount of time to reading through the course material (at least 20 hours imo). So please reconsider your decision if you're planning to work or study full-time during the course. Otherwise, give it a shot! Be cool and professional, and most important of all, make sure you have a great time. I promise you, it'll be worth it.

On the day of my exam the instructor offered me a paper exam at a later date INSTEAD of the computer at that moment. Let me repeat that. The INSTRUCTOR offered me a written paper test at a later date instead of the computer test and told me I would be contacted. I accepted. I DID NOT TAKE THE TEST THAT DAY. Well, they contacted me alright, with a letter stating that I failed the test. Now tell me,HOW can I fail a test I didn't take? I called and the lady told me I got a zero. I honestly couldn't believe it. A ZERO? Do you think MAYBE something is amiss???? I'm a native english speaker and half of the test is reading comprehension. WHY WOULD I EVEN SHOW UP IF I WASN'T GOING TO ANSWER THE QUESTIONS? She didn't care. The instructor does not care. They as a whole do not care. They refused to honor what was told to me. Very dishonest and shady. Unions are the worst. Stay away from this place.

People can wear their sneakers and other shoes from outside into the pool area and you can imagine the water gets very dirty. Oh remember when you sign up, they don't put a end date on the lesson, so they can automatically bill you every month. If you want to cancel, you can only get 50% refund for the following month.
