This park is on 33-acres and has woods in the back; I saw quite people walking into it. It is open from dusk to dawn all year. The pool was packed since it's a hot June day. The daily fee for the pool is $7 for residents and $10 for non-resident. Overall, a fun spot to hangout!

The splash pad is great, and the pool itself is beautiful, but the environment doesn't feel welcoming to children. There are so many restrictions--no running, no splashing, no touching, no diving, no jumping--that it feels like kids aren't allowed to simply enjoy being in the water. Expecting children not to splash while swimming is unrealistic and takes away from the experience. What made our visit even more disappointing was the attitude of some of the staff. The female lifeguards were unpleasant and came across as rude throughout our visit, while the male lifeguards were polite and respectful. My 14-year-old daughter even felt uncomfortable because one of the female lifeguards repeatedly gave her dirty looks, despite her not causing any problems. Families should be able to enjoy a public pool without feeling like they're constantly being watched or made uncomfortable. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and works on creating a more welcoming atmosphere for children and families.
