The presentation of the exhibitions are professional certainly impressiveLy curated. But the owners…read moreY and R also conduct other businesses in the same facility. The one thing that is really bad about this Gallery is they don't pay the Artists exhibit with them abroad, and they don't return their artwork either, even though they are contracted to do so. They steal their art if they send it to another country for an exhibition, for example, to China. They reach their contract with the Artist. They promised to buy the Artists painting one of paintings if it doesn't sell in an exhibition and then they don't follow through they claim they don't have the money. When asked to return give the paintings back they don't do it when insisting on returning it because it's not their property they dragged their feet and the Artist is lied to repeatedly and promised and then they can't the Artist can't even get in touch they're constantly not available. It's very dishonest operation or Artists to get involved with. It is better not to do business with them. My works was a masterpiece it was. I did not want to send it to China. They talked me into it as promised to be paid in full with a 50% commission taken and I would be paid promptly at the 30 days after the fair. The fair was not successful. The works did get into the Shanghai Museum, but we did not get paid phone call at the phone call email after email message after message promise after promise and still, they did not pay for it and they did not return the artwork. Some of it was promised to be returned and wasn't returned. It proved to be holy unethical holy dishonest it was it's grand theft apparently because there are anywhere from 17 to 20 people who have not received payment and not receive their paintings back and this has been six months already people keep asking keep sending letters even certified letters I sent a letter that was a demand for payment after talking an attorney and it wasn't honored. They have not honored anything I was promised my painting back. It should've been here on June 30. That was the deadline cause I was told I had to give them a deadline. I gave because the attorneys representative told me that they were lying to me and not to trust them and to give them the deadline. And that's what I did just like I did with my demand for payment that they ignored. They make themselves invisible so you can't reach them no matter how many times you call right to them text to them in particularly Yuka. You don't get a response once in a blue moon you might get a response and then she tells you something and she's going to do and then she doesn't do it. I would not advise any Artist to exhibit a this Gallery abroad. The only time to exhibit with them is in-house and there's no guarantee that if you work, Cell that you will get the money owed to you based on my experience with them abroad. When I discussed it with another Gallery today, he said it's a scam. They're a scammers. They stole your Art. They probably sold it and they kept the money. At first, I was told my painting was sold in an auction when I did not give authorization for them to sell it in an auction, I wanted it back if they didn't sell it or I wanted my payment in full as promised if it wasn't sold. They did what they wanted to do and there was no way to check on what they did. I'm not the only one there were approximately 20 of us in the show and not a single one of us got paid not a single one of us got our artwork back. It's been seven months already since it's been in China we kept getting promises we'd be paid month after month no matter how many times they were contacted when one person or another would eventually get some kind of word it would be that it was coming as a certain approximate time. Well that was, but it didn't come and when contacted again, they were invisible. This is one of the galleries that people say" oh I've heard of a Gallery that doesn't pay the Artists". Theyb sell they work and they don't pay them. Well that's this Gallery. That's my experience and the experience of all the others in the show I was in everybody wanting payment, and not getting it trying to reach them and not getting a hold of them if they get a hold of them getting told another lie one lie after another promises promises promises. Sure it was a beautiful show here in St. James, New York, but after that is a mystery. I'm we were in the Shanghai Museum.

This was no painting party, this was no craft party, it was truly something different! It is for all levels of creativity; From not a creative bone in your body to the most creative designer. We all made beautiful creations and had such a ball, we could have stayed for hours more! Anna served devious food and was beyond a gracious host. I was in awe of the behind the scenes effort and thoughtfulness of prepping the canvases, gathering the glass, materials, and the applying the finishing coat. Whenever one us got stuck creatively, Anna and her staff were right there to help and offer suggestions You have got to experience the process first hand. You will marvel at the Art work Anna has created. A spectacular party! We will all be back!

I went here this past Saturday for an event. It was anything short of a disaster. The owner,…read moreKrystal, was probably the most unprofessional business owner I've ever met. She had her baby on the hip the entire event, which was alarming for a workshop where you can literally get hurt anywhere you turn. At one point, she had the baby in a walker and he was just walking around hitting into things and I almost tripped over him... I couldn't believe it honestly. Something could've fallen on him and it wasn't like this was a last minute event. This was planned way ahead of time where she could've found child care coverage for the day, it was no excuse. She was extremely rude to the children and parents alike, I was really taken back. I signed up beforehand on the website and when it was time to make the craft, my daughters name wasn't on the list. She shoved the list in my face and said "you didn't sign up!" I said "I know for a fact I signed up because I sat down with my daughter and I let her pick out exactly what craft she wanted". She then shoved the list back in my face and said "no you didn't, she's not on the list!" My daughter is 5, you're a business owner, it's a simple fix, what's with the attitude? My husband and I were strongly thinking about doing an event together there to make something. We would never go now after this. The crafts are extremely expensive too, not worth it.

My friend and I had a hankering to do something creative and to have a little "girls" afternoon…read more She had been here last summer, and suggested it. Looking over the website I was a bit hesitant as I saw the prices. I thought..."This seems a bit pricey...I'm not sure..." But I threw caution to the wind and decided, what the heck. You pick your date that you want to come to the workshop and you pick your project as well as the design. Upon arrival, your wood pieces are there for you as well as the stencils for your chosen design. You are provided a color sheet that has the paint colors, as well as the wood stain colors. There are a ton of examples on the walls too, as well as samples of different wood staining techniques. Ethan was helping out today and I have to say - I am not sure if our experience would have been as enjoyable if not for him. He was simply AMAZING. So kind, warm, engaging and helpful. He didn't mind when I picked out 5,3492 colors for my wood tray project. If I came back here, I'd want him to be working again. Anyways, I am not going to bore you with the step by step process but the three hours allotted kinda flew by. Depending on your project and the design/colors you pick, you will see why. In my tray with the art supplies, I wanted certain supplies to be "true" to real life and used multiple colors for a single item and this of course took time. The process is fun, easy and even for those who claim "they can't draw" or "they aren't creative" I call malarky - this is a place where you will absolutely have success and have a true one of a kind creation that you have made, and that you didn't purchase from Home Goods or something of the like. Head on down here for the afternoon with a friend or significant other and you are sure to have fun and get those creative juices flowing.
