The store is easy to access and was well stocked. I found the few things I wanted and was able to ring up the sale at the self checkout without any delay. The parking lot was clean but the cart corrals needed some attention today. I always find it interesting that you can buy liquor in a supermarket in Nevada. I didn't need any today but it's different than my experience in North Carolina where spirits are restricted to state-operated liquor stores. Hooray for freedom. I do not recommend anybody go to the CVS in Elko Nevada, I have had many issues as late especially…read moresince close today their employees and managers refuse to understand how to handle a disgruntled and irritated customer instead of trying to alleviate and calm the situation they would rather threaten you with the cops and or 86 you because you decided to have a backbone and stand up for yourself and tell them slash employees that they are doing their job in a way that is making customers or customer feel uncomfortable or uneasy. The employees at this store specifically like to judge you and your character based on how you dress and the way you look and if you don't look like you're a straight edge picture perfect productive member of society they will treat you as if you are a thief and make you feel like you don't belong in their store like they don't want you there they don't let you take your time when you're looking for products in the store they expect you to be in and out as quick as possible and need help with anything and tell him no they will continue to pester you about it leave the store I have lived in this town for almost 20 years and I have never ever felt like I've been unwanted in this store up until now every manager and employee that I have dealt with as of late is very confrontational and they don't know how to handle situations with their customers would rather kick you out and call the cops or agency property so I give this convenience store / pharmacy one star because the quality and ability for employees and managers has gone down drastically I will never come back to the store again unless it's regarding work because I'm a doordasher and I come here for deliveries. Though as I…read moreskim them it seems like a kinda random selection of personal anecdotes with a bad employee rather than specific consistent issues. Often busy as you'd expect with lines at the registers even at off hours, but self checkout has tons of kiosks and moves along fast. Place low-key has tons of good stuff on clearance every time I visit for some reason. They even have a little alcohol clearance area, never see those around let alone at a Wally World.

However, I was met by a guy today…read morewho claimed to me that my insurance wasn't covering any of my prescription, that he was losing money on it, and it would be 100 dollars. That didn't seem right to me so I called my insurance company. They confirmed they do cover that prescription, that the pill box had filed a claimed they approved, and it should have been 65 dollars. When I went back to the pill box to ask why I was overcharged, the man who had seen me before yelled at me saying again that he was losing money, wasn't going to let that happen, my insurance doesn't cover it etc. And even accused my insurance company of lying to me. I called my insurance provider again and spoke to a different representative who again told me they cover it and it should be 65 dollars. I had the prescription filled at a different pharmacy who charged me 65 dollars, and also weren't assholes. That unprofessional dick doesn't deserve anyone's business. If he tells you your insurance isn't covering something double check with your provider because it could be he's just trying to scam you like he did me.
