Welcome to my new favorite haunt…read more I don't know why I put off trying this place. Maybe it's because of the 900 wrong assumptions I had about it, like that it was tiny inside of an old garage, or that it was another lame wing spot place, or that it was gimmicky, idk whatever it was, I WAS WRONG. First of all, it's so spacious and cool inside, with long tables and huge tv's. And also two really nice bathrooms. It's the perfect place to gather. And the food? Shut up delicious. Their combos are a great price for absolutely huge portions. And not just what you get, but the actual chicken is huge. The chunks and wings, never been able to finish my order of either! I always get the 6 Wing MRE combo with tots. I do prefer the tots over the fries. My go-to sauces are Sweet Chili (no spice) and Mango Habanero (nice heat). These wings are not breaded and perfectly cooked with a crisp to the skin and moist chicken inside. My husband loves the boneless chunks, and is a huge fan of getting half pickle dry rub, and half lemon pepper dry rub. Their cheese curds and fried mushrooms were a huge hit, the fried pickles were a little too much breading though. They also serve liquor here, so add to that good chicken and big screen football, and it's just the perfect way to spend an evening.

It was a to go order today, from order to out the door was very efficient. There is a nice little bench area to sit while you wait for your order to be completed. Probably wanted to rate this a 3.5, that is not an option, so I went 4.0 because I know the tenders are yummy just not a great salad experience.

However, you might be better served driving a little further. Biggie's dinning room is full of local, state, college, and professional memorabilia. This is very interesting! During our visit we were the only customers for the 1pm lunch. The waitresses were OK...not really friendly or helpful. They just got the job done. Several times we helped ourselves to refills because it took all them to make our meals at once. We ordered fried pickles and mushrooms. The mushrooms were small and in pieces...and not very tasty. The pickle spears were actually pretty good. I had the wings (one of their specialties). They were good sized but covered in an off-the-shelf BBQ sauce - nothing special. The side salad was large and not bad. The macaroni salad was not good! The Italian sub and waffle fries were described as being sub-par and not real tasty. The Biggie burger was said to be good. Apparently the chicken wrap was pretty good. Next time I'd go for one of their other specialties - pizza. The prices weren't bad. Another interesting note is Biggie is located next to the railroad track. A train did come through and rattle the restaurant. Not too loud though.

I was asking the people I work with there where are some good places to eat for lunch.I believe The Side Rail came out of nearly everyone's mouths.I arrived at the restaurant for a late lunch probably around 4:30 and the place was not too busy but had its share of patrons. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door with a hello and a smile.I chose to sit at the bar beings I was alone. The decor was very neat with a mix of local and railroad themed decorations. The alcoholic drinks included a large collection of various unique and flavorful drinks and cocktails. I enjoy a good hard cider but the one they had listed on tap had a strawberry flavoring. I mentioned my fondness of ciders but my lack of enjoying strawberry flavored drinks to the waitress/bartender and she immediately offered a sample. I was quite surprised how good it actually was.The menu definitely has a large selection of unique food and combinations especially burgers. I started with an appetizer of garlic cheeses curds. They came out quickly and were fresh, hot, and crispy just how I like them. The garlic flavor with the cheese curds was a great change from the normal cheese curds I'm used to with them even being in cubes.I had to try the burger with Peanut Butter and Jelly, the loaded fries, and Mac and cheese.I was really second guessing that ordering that choice was a good one but boy was I surprised. The burger was cooked perfectly.I will never understand how a burger with cheese, peanut butter,a fruit jam sauce, and even a egg actually not only worked together but was delicious. The loaded fries were crispy, cheesy, and the jalapeños were flavorful but not too hot.The Mac and cheese was also very delicious and very creamy.I will definitely be returning to try some of the other unique sandwiches and cocktails. The only regret I had was forgetting my leftovers in my truck when I got back to my hotel.
