At Millersneuk we are happy to welcome both NHS and private dental patients. History: 1980s - Millersneuk Dental Practice established by dentist Colin Mcmanus at Millersneuk shopping centre. Continued on at that location under various owners including Malcolm Strang and Clive Schmullian 2011 - Millersneuk taken under the ownership of dentists Philip Church and Michael Kelly 2014 - Moved to new modern dental practice on Kirkintilloch Road, Lenzie

        Meet the Business Owner: Philip C.

        Philip Church joined Millersneuk Dental practice in 2011 as the principal dentist. Phil is interested in all aspects of general dental practice but takes a particular interest in dental implants, dental sedation and digital dentistry. Phil is a member of the Association of Dental Implantologists and attends postgraduate study events in the fields of dental implants and sedation. Phil is currently involved with incorporating all aspects of digital dentistry into his clinical practice. This involves the latest digital scanning and milling techniques as well as guided surgery for implant patients. Phil has been involved with NHS education in the past providing training and mentoring. At home Phil has a young family with his three boys keeping him busy in his time off.

I had toothache for close to a year, and the reason that l didn't go back to one was that the last one wanted close to a thousand pounds to have it seen to. When I came here I was given an appointment for a few days time and after that appointment I was told to come back the next day to have the tooth removed. The whole thing was painless and quick, and over before I even knew it.

      I had a toothache that I fought to keep at bay. I lost that battle. I only slept 4 hours and was up…read moreat 3:00 am and was in pain. My friend and I were leaving in the morning to make our way to the Scottish Highlands and I knew I had to be seen before our departure. I emailed 2 emergency dental clinics. Hammaad, the dentist, emailed me soon after they opened at 8:30 am and said he could fit me in at 9:15 am. I called him as requested and told him I would be on my way. The location was easy to find. Every single employee at the clinic was so kind. I was seen right away and they quickly took x-rays and started on my root canal. I told Hammaad that I was leaving to go to the Highlands and not returning to Glasgow. So he made sure to set me up for success. He cleaned out my tooth that had a bad infection. He constantly asked how I was doing during the procedure. Afterwards he gave me antibiotics to make sure the infection would go away. He told me he would call me the next day to check on me and called me while I was still in the office to ensure he would be able to get a hold of me. The cost of the last minute appointment, x-rays, and the root canal was 299 pounds. I paid out of pocket since I am a US citizen. But it was worth every penny as we all know toothaches are the worst. They gave me directions to the pharmacy and it took just a few minutes to pick up my prescriptions. Hammaad called me the next morning to check on me which was thoughtful and kind of him. I highly recommend this dental clinic. Everything and everyone was perfect from start to finish. I was able to still make it to the highlands and enjoy my holiday without any further pain. Thank you, Hammaad.
