Lovely place! Private/NHS your choice. Was shown into waiting room, tea. Coffee , hot chocolate and bottle water available whilst you wait. Staff extremely helpful . I needed x-ray, was impressed to find I did not need to go to another room! Offered a choice of flavoured mouth washes. A nice touch! Was very impressed with the Hygienist, sensitive teeth cause a lot of pain during any visit to hygienist normally, and I usually get jags in gums to help. But this was first time I have had no pain, or anaesthesia . They use water at a fast action to clean tartar! Brilliant. Can't say much about prices as I think private treatment is always more expensive. £52 for(private )one hygenist visit! But well worth it. Good dentist! read more

My treatment so far at Dentistry on the Square has been wonderful. I am seeing both Alison and Jamie for a smile makeover and both of them have put me at ease throughout with their compassion, professionalism and knowledge. I knew at consultation I had made the correct choice. Alison is an artist with amazing attention to detail. She put me at ease as we chatted through my options and we decided on the best plan together.I currently live in South Wales but It is worth the travel to ensure I receive the highest quality of care and treatment. Reception have been great at creating a timeline for my appointments to dates and time that suit me.I was absolutely terrified attending my first appointment for an extraction which was the first step in the dental implant process. Before I even got to the clinic I received a comfort menu where I was able to choose products to make me feel more comfortable. I had left my headphones at home and was delighted when that was one of the choices. Alison kindly came out to greet me in reception and introduced me to Jamie who would be starting the implant. Jamie immediately relieved my anxiety with his calm demeanour and he ensured me it would be pain free and that's exactly what it was. The dental nurse was lovely and supported me throughout. I was given aftercare advice and shown how to use my new plate before leaving.I left the clinic feeling silly I had been so scared. I begin the next part of the process next week and I will have the confidence to walk in and know I will be in safe hands. I can't wait to see the end result. read more

After one bad experience with a previously with a dentist I moved to this practice. This used to be a private practice but take NHS patients now, this place was real nice with a cosy waiting room that even has a self service fridge with water, I dare not touch this fridge just in case it was connected with to my bank card like hotel fridges. I had been here in the past and the work that I had done been done to a good standard, my main issues back then was reception staff over charged me by a small amount as they do ask for money up front in this practice as a deposit but never took the deposit of when paying full amount when this was a regular occurrence I felt embarrassed having to constantly correct their mistakes. I was registered as an NHS patient and booked a consultation and had to pay up front for this's at £116.00 and only lasted 10 minutes, I was soon given another invoice for the work done this was for £811.80 above the consultation charge for repair to a tooth. I didn't go ahead with the work as I thought it was over priced, in the end I had to leave in pain for two months before I went to the Dental Hospital in Sauchiehall street, where I was given an appointment for that afternoon, costing under £5 for treatment. I read all the reviews and thought BRILLIANT let's go for it having a needle phobia-this was the dentist for me I contacted dentistry on the square and explained I had a chipped tooth and was looking for an appointment with a view to use their pain free inject system and also whatever other treatment required. The receptionist could only offer me a Wednesday appointment that wasn't over 3 weeks away. She then contacted me back and advised the sister practice could see me sooner, I asked do they carry out the 'needle free inject system'? I was advised that they do everything and I was in great hands. Arrive at the sister practice for my prepaid appointment- the dentist who was very nice, wasn't aware of this system but then dental nurse was who advised me 'we don't use it anymore it's rubbish' So for anyone looking to use this fabulous system that has demo videos advising how wonderful it is their staff advise it's rubbish... I then requested a refund and was ignored but the root cause....the receptionist providing inaccurate information. Respond to customer feedback read more
