Then they found out GM no longer manufactured my engine, so it would cost $7K for them to put in a used one. That didn't sound right to me, so I called Coffey to see when I could bring my car by the shop. I didn't tell them what the other repair shop told me. Coffey said it was the thermostat, and charged me $372. A big difference from $7K. Needless to say, I won't be going back to the shop that tried to cheat me. Andrew and his team are THE greatest. This is, by FAR, the best place I've ever taken my car to. For many years before moving north, he provided great service for my vehicles. Always straight-up, no BS, no upselling, just plain facts about what your car does and doesn't need. Repairs were always perfect and well-priced. Not to mention the fact that Andrew is just a great guy in general. He truly cares about making sure your vehicle is in good shape but he also genuinely cares about his customers. After I left town, my mom continued to take her car to him for service. I appreciate the fact that he always treated her like family. Every visit was pleasant and she always called me to let me know that he asked her about me and my family. Mom is now up north with us. Our family's one true regret about moving is that we can no longer take our vehicles to Andrew. We SO miss his fantastic service, his kind heart and his epic smile.

But the new team in charge has completely turned things around. They went above and beyond to make sure everything with my car was handled properly. Here is his review: I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I have received at Eurofed of Charlotte, NC. This is now the second time I've brought my Bentley in for the exact same issue that was supposedly addressed just a few weeks prior, yet the problem persists unresolved. What makes this situation far worse is that my vehicle has been sitting in their shop for over nine months. Throughout this entire period, I've been given repeated assurances and promises about completion timelines that have not been honored. Communication has been inconsistent at best, and ultimately, the manager admitted they are unable to deliver a satisfactory repair. The condition in which my vehicle has been kept is completely unacceptable. My Bentley has been left outside with the windows down and, unbelievably, the keys left sitting on the driver's seat. Additionally, various parts from the dashboard, engine bay, and trunk have been removed and carelessly thrown into the back seat on leather upholstery showing a complete disregard for my property. This experience reflects not only poor workmanship but a troubling lack of respect and professionalism. It feels as though there is a clear disregard for certain customers and a lack of accountability in how business is conducted. Within 4 months, I need to rebuild the whole transmission. Through a pilot friend, I came to Larry's transmissions. He asked for $1,500.- that was pretty high comparing with many other quotes I had got. Having listened to David's explaination, owner of the shop, I decided to let him do the work. Having no knowledge about car, I had that fixed. Within a year, he called me to follow up. Very good. A little minor problem and he fixed it without even charging me. For the past years, it runs very good. Whenever I had other problems with my car, he would tell me what I could do. Last Sunday, I smelt something burnt and saw white smoke from the car. I had my friend look at it and found nothing. So I called David to have a look at the car. He said there was a leak due to wear and tear, it costs me $65.- to fix it. For all these years, I have referred a number of friends to him and he did great jobs. They are all happy. Other mechanics also work with him for over 20 years. I know it is difficult to find honest experienced auto mechanics as my late husband and I had service station business in Los Angeles before. In Charlotte, I had met a few times, mechanics either have little experience or cheating especially to women. Dave let his mechanic take my truck home so he could pick up parts in my truck. So when I went there to get my truck " I surprised him with out calling his mechanic was picking up parts then so I called the police and told him to get my truck back over there he didn't know where it was. Make this story short they left my truck on central Ave at a gas station unlocked with the key under the floor mat and told me to pick it up from there. The mechanic said, I needed to replace the engine in my Audi Q5. I could not believe what was coming out of his mouth. I'm not a mechanic but a single cylinder not getting minimum compression doesn't sound like a total engine loss and this from an ASE certified mechanic. I was happy I get a referral here and a second opinion that was accurate. It turns out it was a bad fuel injector. Yes, better than replacing an entire engine. They have great mechanics here who are ASE & Audi certified. They have personable and professional Staff in Jennifer, JD & John.
