My (ex-meat cutter) husband tells me that it's all about the marbling in a steak. Since he's the one at the point of purchase, if his choices are not A+, he could have walked away. Still, that said, we've found Dave's to provide the best in steaks in the Jackson / Wellston area. The ground beef is also top-notch. So, if you're frustrated by the lack of quality in beef you'll find at Kroger, you should give Dave's a try.
