While the haircut costs more than a typical one, it's worth every penny. I've never experienced a bad haircut from them which is a common thing that occurs in Bloomington if you go to cheaper places. Covid Note- they have hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes all around the shop. The staff and all guests were wearing masks. Strict cleaning protocols were clearly in place. The environment is friendly and the wall paintings bring a chill vibe to the place. The website allows you to pick which barber you want on a specific date at a specific time with exactly the type of cut you want. It's clear that James is very passion about his work, but his conduct came across as unpleasant and unprofessional. For starters, he blatantly ignored my request to cut my hair with a straight razor. I understand that he is the professional in the situation, but if he wasn't going to consider my request, he shouldn't have asked in the first place.
