AHS - The common problem. The ratings and complaints I see are all due to the warranty company. My…read moredealings directly with Nick and his company were fine. Tech got here, wasted no time and got job done quickly and thoroughly. I've had AHS for about 8 years. When they are on they're great. They Penny pinch their repair companies. They try to force them to do repairs and not replace. You must read your contract to see what's excluded because they always get you on the exclusions. I too had thought it was the company who showed up, fault in every situation. It is NOT. I've had to FIGHT AHS for my promised services and/or replacements.. I do eventually get a satisfactory outcome from them. These contractors for these home warranty company's are paid less than the normal going rate and get abused by customers who feel they are giving them the short end of stick. Many don't stay for long. (We are small business owners. We were on preferred auto repair list. It was the biggest hassle and we reaped no benefit and only headaches, so I know how this works, and we got off that list.) My only complaint, and this too probably lies with AHS, my power was out from Thursday to Monday on 1/2 side of my house. No AC and electric which caused a big power surge on my other AC and other 1/2 my house. I'm here to give credit where it's due and put the blame were it lies. In our case. Give them a chance.

Spent at least 20 hours with my exhaust fan issue with AHS and this company. Initially was told the…read morefan was no longer made and I am responsible to cut through the ceiling and provide access, even without knowing what type of replacement was going to be ordered. a few days later, AHS claim was marked "Service complete" and "Invoiced". at this point, nothing was done. After calling AHS dozens of times and AHS approved to order a replacement, this company is no longer available for the job. I then did some search and found out the manufacturer is still making the type of fan I currently have. The owner was very rude and angry when I called him, claiming they will not do anything until I cut the roof open and provide access. I suspect it is a scam AHS collaborating with their contractor by charging the service fee and eventually do nothing to the homeowner. I cancelled AHS contract immediately after spending so much time and got nowhere.
