You cannot help but look. It is on the front of the building and wraps around both sides. It was painted in 2016 and is the work of Justin Oloson of Olson Studios. The right side of the mural depicts a close up of a bright blue-eyed person with glasses on set against a colorful wavy background. The front has the building's address hidden into an eye chart and a brown eyed man with glasses on and the colorful waves behind the eye chart and to the mans right. The left side of the building has a blonde-haired, blue-eyed woman, yep, you guessed it, with eye glasses, looking at the colorful waves that are in front of her. I like the colors used in the mural. The colorful waves contrast very well with the background. And even though it is somewhat basic, the artwork is on point, Olson is very talented. The mural is in excellent shape and looks pretty fresh. Parking here to get a closer look is pretty simple. You can pull into the clinic's parking lot or snag a free spot on the street, get out and look as long as your heart desires. I just parked on the street in front of the clinic. Anyway, as with most murals that I have visited and reviewed, this is not a long stop. I was there less than 5 minutes. So, you may want to consider planning out additional stops at many of the other attractions in the area, or making this stop part of a larger itinerary to maximize your time and trip.

I also like that it is a small office and not a huge "clinic" with multiple doctors and a lot of staff which means too much overhead to me. I get two kinds of eye exams and sometimes I don't get both at the same time because the insurance copays are different. One is a medical type for diabetes and the other is just for your eyeglasses prescription. Today was just to check my eyeglasses prescription. The exam went quick. There was no waiting for the doctor to finish up with other patients. I liked the personal service touch here better than the larger clinics.

They were a well oiled machine. Then we met with Jadyn, the Optician. My wife Jackie and i both enjoyed talking with her and understanding new trends and eyewear we may prefer. Jadyn was so attentive and just interested in us. She was a good listener and let us know she heard what we were saying in a very courteous way. Jackie plans to purchase several pair of glasses, both prescription sunglasses and the regular inside pair. From here on out we will be going to Vision Quest and asking for Jadyn, when we need new eyewear.

Dr Hulsey has been "my day 1" eye dr and been nothing but the best to me and my family since then. Our catch-up anymore lasts almost as long as the actual appointment with him. Their assistants are always professional and friendly. Don't expect to wait forever for your appointment, or contacts [if you need to order them]. They send text message reminders out as a reminder, as well as a post-appt survey via email. I can't imagine having to find another ophthalmologist - the bar is set VERY high!

Luckily at Lanter Eyecare, my Ophthalmic Technician Bethany assured me that everything would be ok, even with instruments and drops coming straight for my eyes. Bethany was super sweet and my diagnostics were all done super quickly. Dr. Lauth was also sweet and I honestly have never felt more comfortable at an eye appointment. Lanter Eyecare has a wide array of frames for the most stylin' of faces. I can't wait to go pick out my new glasses.
