i've been bouncing from salon to salon for about a year looking for a place, i've gone to a lot of…read moredifferent salons in mercer county, some twice, but was still looking for a place that i left feeling happy without feeling like i couldn't eat lunch for the next three days because of what i just spent. i read some good reviews about issalon and decided to give it a try this morning and think i've finally found "my place!" i got there 15 minutes early for my appointment and ally took me almost immediately. i was scheduled for full highlights and am usually a little anxious in a new place but she was awesome, friendly, and so relaxed. i never worried for a second because she clearly knew what she was doing. i have trouble making decisions and a lot of salons will just sit and not give me feedback, but ally was so sincere and i really valued her input, which ended up spot on. she wasn't pushy and didn't try to convince me to buy anything or get services i didn't need or ask for just to jack the bill up, just made suggestions that were so appreciated. she was honest and gives great advice! i paid literally half as much as i have been paying in other salons, but left twice as happy, i will definitely be back :) kerry

With that said Maria was really nice & was able to give me exactly what I asked for. I have longer hair with layers and not everybody cuts it right. Also with my color too, I've seen people offer a shade that's too dark thinking my hair is the lightest black instead of the darkest brown. She knew right away what color I needed when I told her to match the ends. I was very happy with the service, it was a friendly clean environment, and yes I had to pay $10 extra because my hair naturally sits right above my elbows. Nonetheless I got exactly what I paid for and tipped based on the price before the discount, and if I were to call any other salon to ask for the same thing I would have easily dropped over a $100 + extra for longer hair.

The staff is wonderful and very welcoming. The atmosphere of this salon is exactly what you'd want on a day you are getting your hair done. It's a very clean and open space - my old salon was very small and cramped I worried about knocking things over. Plus they have coffee and snacks! And for a city girl like me who in the past had to run out mid appointment to feed the meter - there's ample parking! I briefly spoke to the owner, Brittany, after my first visit and you can tell she put a lot of work into bringing her vision into life. I also see the way she treats her staff like family and how they are all happy to be there. I think anyone would be lucky to be working for her. Hailey is my go to for all things hair now. I moved to Mercer County a few months ago and am so happy I found this salon. My 2nd visit I got a full balayage/highlights and absolute LOVE the way it came out.
