Dr. Sandeep Walia's teaching methods are direct and to the point, he won't sugar coat the items that are needed. "Show me something else" is a phrase you'll hear around a few times, he'll push you and motivate you. Something that is truly required when working to this level of precision. He'll make you work and then some but keep showing you ways with tips and demonstrations to bring out your capabilities. I've realized that every time I've seen him work I've picked up something new, beyond what he says just by watching. It's a true blend of precision dentistry with art. Highly recommended when preparing for NDEB / NBDE / PLA / Bench tests.

My work sent me on a week long Visual Basic course at Learning Tree and I was very impressed. The location is awesome. It's right downtown and very clean, modern, and spacious. All the equipment is new. Plenty of computers in the classrooms for use during your course. Also, outside the classrooms, there are computers with internet and phones so you can keep in touch with the office. There is an onsite kitchen with tables, sinks, a fridge, and a great view. They serve breakfast and snacks and there seems to be a ton of delicious food all the time. Ice cream bars, muffins, yogurt, french toast, and a whole lot more. I'm pretty sure I gained about 5 pounds over the course of my week at Learning Tree. The course itself was top-notch. The instructor, Tim, was amazing. He's very professional, helpful, funny, and experienced. The material was excellent and there were many hands-on exercises. We were given a copy of the material to take away with us for future reference. The thing that impressed me the most was the attention to the needs and interests of the students. Our instructor constantly asked about the pace and content of his teaching and implemented change when necessary. This is clearly a company that values the feedback of it's customers/students and makes changes accordingly. Of course, with this sort of quality comes a price tag to match. My week long course cost a few grand. As such I doubt I'd ever take a course through Learning Tree if I had to pay out of my own pocket. I have to take a star off for this. But, if your company is willing to pay for you to take a course (as was the case with me) I would highly recommend checking out Learning Tree. You won't be disappointed.
