I sought out wanting piano lessons for my son and I just assumed all schools would be the same. I was directed to Forte because of reviews of my friends'. Upon entering the school, I was impressed, I must admit. But honestly, it's not like I had other music schools to compare it to. The first instructor we had was young, a little wet behind the ears, but a knowledgeable instructor. After the first year, we switched to a more seasoned teacher, much like any student would in regular school. My thought was to have as rounded an education for my son as possible. But this is where it gets real. Our new teacher, Sy Winnie, was from another planet. He didn't just instruct well because he is the greatest piano player I've ever personally witnessed, but he related to my son on a personal level. My son wanted to talk about his piano teacher WELL after the lesson was over and I knew something magical was happening. After the second year, I noticed my son's skills becoming remarkably noticeable and random strangers would comment. He began playing public pianos in different cities we would vacation in, and people even began to tip him! As the years went on, my son has developed such a strong skill in music that it extended not only to him joining the band in middle school and high school, but it actually bettered his academics as well! Music education develops pathways in the brain that normal students never develop which enhance the learning curve on any subject. My son is now in high school, has a 4.0 school average and his musicianship has never been better. His youtube videos of his piano playing has even been watched by thousands. When the quarantine hit, I thought this would slow his music education or even ruin it. But, the owner of the school called me directly to tell me he didn't want to lose him as a student. They set up lessons via tablet-technology and continued regardless of distance. This school doesn't just teach. It cares. I honestly think it changed not only my son's life, but indirectly, mine too.

I was looking online for specific drums: Mapex Saturns. I found a three-piece set at the Toledo…read more(Holland) store. I called to ask for an associate to look over the set to confirm it's online condition rating as "Great." He cheerfully obliged. I purchased the drums over the phone. Shipping from Ohio to Idaho was only $38! Plus, Guitar Center offers a 45-day return (just bring it to your local GC). Shipping only took a few days and the drums arrived very well packed in three individual boxes. The condition was as described. The only hiccup was that a tom clamp was not included in the shipment. I called the store and spoke to Ops Mgr JD. He couldn't find the clamp that had been in the online photo so he located a new one and shipped it to me. I am very satisfied with the helpfulness of the staff at this store.

Like most "super-stores" that sell musical instruments, this one is equally disappointing. Perhaps its o.k. for the starter musician or parents who don't have a clue about the instruments they're about to buy, but to the professional, its a big, supers-sized let down. If you try to look for, say a Bose L1 system, they only have an imitation brand, or the most generic version. If you're looking for a Spanish style, Nylon string guitar, they only have cheap quality ones, mostly made in China, not Spain. Again, their size is impressive, but to the seasoned musician, its like going to a garage sale with little hope of finding something of quality value.

She lectured me on how to ask if they sold guitar strings. When I placated her, and said please (in retrospect, I should have just walked out), she answered the question and then said, "Now you need to say Thank You." 0 stars. The service is terrible. The employee is rude and disgusting, and it is no wonder she is working in that raggedy run down shop in NowheresVille, Ohio. I hope she has the town that she deserves.

To my surprise, I found the same two people behind the counter. 35 years. Thats how much experience they have, and probably more, in lessons, sales, repair and service. They know musical instruments better than any "music-mart" or musical instrument store in the area. Thanks to Valley Music, I was playing in my first band by the age of 13, and am still a working musician. If you are interested in musical lessons or sales, I HIGLY RECOMMEND Valley Music over all the other local musical instrument stores in the area.

I will definitely be back based on the friendly atmosphere, clean environment and simple, fresh food offerings.

In anticipation of a June 2018 wedding in Northern Michigan we signed an contract with Simone in the Fall of 2017 and wired him 50% of the total fee as a down payment. As the wedding date approached, our wedding planner began to work with Simone on details such as lodging and meal requirements and he was engaged and responsive. Then ONE WEEK before the wedding he said he was double booked for that particular date and would NOT BE ABLE TO PLAY at our wedding as contractually committed. Simone agreed he had breached the contract and that he would return our deposit. Now over three years later he has paid only a fraction of the amount owed despite active contact from us and an apparently busy performance schedule. Note -- in recognition of Covid we did not pursue payment during that time. In summary do NOT hire as Simone is UNRELIABLE, UNTRUSTWORTHY AND HAS ZERO INTEGRITY.

Not only was the music exactly what we asked for, but he does an amazing job at coordinating the flow of the party. Simone is also always available to discuss event details over the phone with extremely quick responses. It's been an absolute pleasure working with the Simone Vitale band!

Sharing my experience with Duke Petting Farm to save you from having to go through the same thing…read more I was having a big cowboy themed party for my boys joint birthday party. So I thought how fun would it be to have a cowboy horse & a petting farm. I Talked with Deb before even booking the party to make sure all the kids would be able to ride the pony. At first I asked for a horse because most of the kids would be around 10-11 years old. I was told a horse would be too hard for the little kids but she would send me a large pony that would be perfect for my age range. I told her no one would be over 120 pounds. She even asked me to put it in an email and I did. I am sharing that email in the photo section. I confirmed this with the owner several times before the party. Fast forward to party day when the problems all began. She sent 2 girls to work my one hour party. The one girl that ran the petting bunny area was EXTREMELY rude to all the little kids. Even rolling her eyes at them when they asked what kind of balloons she could make. She yelled at them multiple times when kids 3 years old were petting the baby bunnies. To a point of me and several parents going in the bunny pen to help. It was so embarrassing that people at my party were being treated this way. Several of the bunnies kept escaping. She yelled at the 3 year old birthday boy when he went to get a second handful of food from the food bucket they bring. She said "you already fed the animals." We tried to talk to her to help change her bad mood but it was the entire time and super disappointing as this was a kids party. The other thing I would like to warn you about is that TONS of the kids were turned away from riding the pony. The girl working said they were too tall. One of the girls was a tiny 10 year old weighing no more that 65 pounds. If height was a requirement I should have been told that before the party. Like I said I discussed this with her multiple times. So only a few little kids got to ride over and over. When you pay over $500 for someone to bring animals to your party you expect at least kind service. I contacted the owner before coming to social media. She said the girl working the party was only 14 years old. While she did say she would talk to her she made all kinds of excuses. I think it would be better to have an adult working something like this. She told me the bigger pony they had used at a different party that day and had problems with so they switched to this one. I understand things happen in life but those are not a customers problem. While I couldn't come to an agreement with the owner I thought I could at least warn all my friends or anyone thinking to book for a party! Stay far away. I wished I would have booked somewhere else. After having the party I had several people recommend Tyler's exotic animals. They said he is much more kid friendly. Just super disappointed that so few kids got to ride the pony & that the other worker that ran the balloons/petting area treated everyone so rotten. It was an awful experience and I have booked lots of big things for events. Never have I had to deal with this kind of unprofessionalism. Truly disappointed.

I took my 10 year old out here for some riding for her birthday, the offer lessons for a fair price and they also do this thing called "Mini-Mondays" where younger kids get to do fun activities and dive into the agricultural world. They get up close and personal with the animals while learning valuable life lessons such as showing respect to all creatures, kindness, forgiveness and other things we all want instilled in our kids! My girls just wrapped up softball and we're so excited to sign up for volunteering at the farm!!

The Tap teacher, Miss Kaylee, is amazing. The Recreational Dance teacher, Miss Stephanie, is also amazing. I really have nothing negative to say about any of the teachers, they have all been wonderful with my girls. One thing I love about this studio is you can talk to the owner/teacher, Miss Veronica, and she will come up with a dance plan/curriculum that works for your child and revolves around their interest in the dance styles. Mini Motions Dance Center

My granddaughter started classes just as she turned 2. Some things were a bit difficult for her to…read moregrasp, but each week became easier. She loved going to class, made friends, and developed confidence in her abilities. Their recital was today and we were all amazed at how well these little ones danced their two dances. Mid year, tap was introduced, and that was a definite hit! The school teaches a variety of dance types and even has tumbling. We'll be back in the fall!

She did not introduce herself, she acted as though these 5 and 6 year olds were older then they were, she excepted them to pick up steps that needed more time to learn, she treated them as if they were dumb because they would mess up their left and right and she did not make the class fun what so ever. I later found out it was her first day but that is no excuse. It was my like girls first day to and she acted better then the adult!

Why the 3 stars you ask? The seats are absolutely horrific. Its a metal bench seat with a bar across your shoulder blades. Even worse the bar is reclined. So you're in this weird position with absolutely no back support while your butt goes numb. You are not allowed to bring in a bleacher seat and if you could it wouldn't fit in the tiny numbered space alloted per person. It would be better to remove the seats and have people sit on the ground kind of Red Rocks style.

It was by total luck that one of the docents at the Toledo Museum of Art asked me if I had seen the…read morePeristyle. "Peristyle? What's that?" I said. She lead me over to a very old looking wood and copper door and told me to just open it and go in. Intrigued by her invitation, I walked in and was amazed by what I saw! I was in total awe of this 1750 seat theater that was built in 1933. It has a beautiful Ancient Grecian look with columns and a beautiful curved ceiling that can be lite up like it's daytime or night, depending on the mood to be conveyed. It's all very classy looking. Words hardly do this facility justice, so I've posted several photos of this beautiful old theater. 5 Stars
