I've been with this group for 7 years and did I see such a dysfunctional company as they are now. My recent visit to the er is proof. A representative assigned at Shorepoint spoke to me for 15 minutes with all kinds of promises to help me with my stroke and I never saw or heard from her again after 4 days and my phone calls to a anonymous person. The app and website offers no contact information at all. I feel sorry for all the doctors who work for this company because they are frustrated too. I need home health they promised now and they're not here or at least calling me. This a bad greedy company only. Update: I've been waiting 5 days for this company to contact me after a stroke, a nurse practitioner made that promise and crickets. Don't trust this company. read more

Don't go to this bldg. Don't use their doctors here. They lie to you. The inside waiting area looks more like a prison waiting area then a doctors office. It's one big open room with no decor or carpet with one long long line just to check in. Their is even a big male guard standing outside the entrance. Their are so many doctors here that everyone in town hears your name being called out real loud. The office staff are so rude & act like they don't want to be there. The billing dept is all messed up & keeps getting my balance wrong. They made a mistake & good luck trying to correct it forever. Trust me & go someplace else were your treated friendly. read more

Wanted to personally thank Dr. Nord and Nurse Frasier for completely screwing over my grandmother. Because of your inaccuracies in charting, your blatant refusal to amend any of her chart notes, or do anything to help, her secondary insurance claimed she lied on her application and cancelled her coverage. I wonder how you can sleep at night knowing you do this to your patients, ESPECIALLY an elderly patient. It is completely unbelievable. I will never recommend Millennium Physicians Group to anyone ever again and I myself as a patient will never return. read more

I recently moved from NP to the Port Charlotte area. I had gotten super sick like super quick and thought I was dying on a Saturday AM. I was able to go online, set an appointment w/in the next hour on a SATURDAY AM .. Yes, I was impressed. As well, I could pay my copay online and not have to deal w/that in the office. I got in and was taken maybe a couple minutes after my 'appt' time; def'ly NOT a problem for me...regular doc's office typically has you waiting up to 30 mins. The staff was very friendly and I felt true concern as they wanted to help me feel like the living again. I wa sin and out w/in 20-30 mins tops. I have found me a new medical practice! I was referred by one of my Specialists, who wanted Dr Planer to take over my care. The office called me when they received referral and advised me that I would see the actual Dr twice a year and the rest, I would see someone else. I could get in right away to see the nurse practitioner, but three months before I could see the doctor. I told him it wouldn't work from the beginning. I told him the doctor would not have a clue what was going on. Dr. Planer started complaining about my specialists, which was amusing, if it wasn't so pathetic, because I was there to get rid of two! We have to see Specialists, because our Primary doesn't have a clue what going on. I know they received referral and knew why I was being sent there, because I asked before I made my first appointment with Nurse Practitioner. read more

Went there to establish new doctor and was greeted by not one but two questionnaires regarding covid. Not once did the receptionist ask me what the purpose of my visit was nor how I was feeling. She took my temperature and asked at least 20 questions regarding covid and then handed me a digital tablet and told me to sit down and finish filling out the form. The first 5 pages on the tablet questionnaire were also ALL covid related just as the verbal questions asked by the receptionist. I was sitting at least 20 feet away from anyone and decided to pull my mask down so I could breath and in less than 10 seconds there was a lady standing in front of me and telling me that if I don't wear my mask I had to leave. Again, no how are you feeling today or why are you here just more covid questions or insinuations. I felt targeted because I answered honestly when asked if I had the vaccine. I never once sneezed, coughed, and my temperature was normal. Needless to say I'm never going back there again, and neither should anyone who values their freedoms. We are now being diagnosed by the way we look or the clothes we wear. No mask means we are potential carriers and transmitters of this and any other decease. Isn't that the basis of race relations in this country? Judging someone by how they are dressed or the color of their skin I thought was illegal. I can't imagine receptionists having the ability to diagnose someone by merely looking at them. This insanity has to stop! read more

I had an appointment with Wendy to practice seeing nurse. I had been diagnosed with gallstones and brought my record from Lee Memorial. She told me since I did not have the right digestive system symptoms that I might have cancer instead. She set me up for a city CTCT scan. I was completely freaked out. She also wanted me to go to A surgeon. He could remove my gallbladder and do a colonoscopy. I was totally baffled by someone diagnosing someone with cancer because they suffer from constipation. read more

I called in a RX refill request to my PRIMARY CARE Millenium doctor in Punta Gorda, FL on Monday at 8:30 am. I had to go thru several recordings to get to the RX LINE, which is NEVER a real person. It is now THREE DAYS later and my pharmacy has no RX from this doctor. EXTREMELY POOR response time. read more

After you fill out the hour's worth of questions online as the webpage says to save time, be prepared to answer the exact same questions on 8 pages of questions when you get there. Amber at the front desk of Millenium Physicians Imaging was so helpful and she has the most beautiful tattoos. I love Millenium Physicians Group which has multiple doctors in various specialties and even keeps the imaging on site so they are readily available to them in house. read more

I went to my eye dr. to make arrangements for cataract surgery. They asked where I had my Rx and I said Millenium. Went to pick up prescription and the cost for 3 tiny bottles for eye meds came to $441.50. I was shocked. They had called earlier and left a message that the meds were costly. I had to get them as the weekend was coming so I had no choice. I saw no deduction for my insurance. This is exhorbitant. I know others who paid nothing to possibly $100 -- I'm still in shock as I have financial problems to begin with. read more

Went in for my annual physical and did all the normal things. I receive a bill with an additional charge for an office visit. I called to question why I was charge with two office visits on the same day and was told I must have added additional questions on the paperwork, which I did not. I was also charge with a "depression screening". I was never asked any questions about depression I have never been depressed nor am I now. She said sometimes the doctor will ask additional questions like" do you wear a bike helmet" lol....I assumed when a patient goes in for a physical and the doctor asks how are you, you will tell them what concerns you have and not get charged for it. It was ok for me to wait 45 minutes past my appointment and not feeling like I was being heard or cared about. I have been a patient her for 17 years and it has been getting worse and worse. I am now seeking a new primary care doctor and leaving Millenium. Just beware and check your billing statement. read more
