It's set up so a large number of different vendors rent space and set up their area themselves and set their own prices. The system means that you can find a huge variety of stuff... it's the sort of place I love browsing through most. It's also a large space, with multiple rooms. I ended up dropping $100 that I hadn't meant to spend - but I also feel that it was half the price I'd have paid elsewhere for a similar item, so I'm quite delighted. (Note, however, that they don't take AmEx, and they're apparently not willing to cut you a break on the prices (or even the tax) if you pay cash. There's a similar place just two doors down called the Millbrook Antiques Mall. I didn't have time to browse there... but if you're not on a schedule, you definitely want to check out both!

The prices got to be ridiculous for the lots. It was evident that the auction house was bidding against me. In addition, they charge a 20% buyer's premium, which is very high. As Disreputable people. Do not recommend bidding for items on their site. It would be a waste of money. Much better to support a reputable auction house that treats its customers in a professional manner.
