Angrily, I left with this receipt he handed to me, only to look at it when I got home and saw that $25 WAS deducted from the card, while showing me on a SCREEN that the transaction was declined. I contacted the number on the card and indeed, it deducted $25. She advised me to give him this C.S. number to verify it but he wouldn't listen. I went back the next morning and he had the gall to say, "why didn't you get the gas? I answered, "YOU showed me the screen that said declined!" His response? A little while later", it registered and you can see it on your receipt." I said, "YOU said it was declined as you gave me this receipt" and THEN, he would not honor the $25 charge he took from it. Told me it would revert back to the card but it has not and will not. He claimed to be the owner/manager but another person said, NOT true! Go to the ANY of the other Shell stations in Danbury unless you have CASH and I STILL wouldn't trust this clown. I now have an active dispute with this guy and waiting on Shell to provide the CORRECT solution. I wish I could give them ZERO stars and I WAS a long-time customer.
