We initially chose this company because they were located so close to our new home. They were…read moreincredibly friendly and worked fast. Unfortunately the quality suffered with that speed. We originally had hardwood floors in some places and carpet in others which created uneven areas and damage to the baseboards, which was expected in those areas and not at all their fault. What was not expected was the random cutting and piecing together of the baseboards in level places. There are fourteen of these corners. We were left with extra pieces of baseboards that we discovered thrown on the floor of our garage that don't belong anywhere we can find. Given that we paid for removing and resetting the baseboards this was very unimpressive. I wish I hadn't told them that we were planning on replacing the baseboards as soon as we could because that could've contributed to their lack of care on that issue. We ended up having to level the whole bottom floor which took our budget from that. They removed the flooring in our laundry room which was not part of our original plan/budget and replaced it with much thinner linoleum (we were not presented with any options, they selected it themselves without consulting us) which tore immediately when moving in our washer and dryer and has made it nearly impossible to move them since then because they get stuck. They assured us it would be replaced and that has never happened. When we did our final walkthrough we were happy with the main flooring but asked them to come back to fix the damage they had left behind. In addition to the linoleum there was some minor damage to our new dishwasher and multiple places where chemicals ruined our paint. Over time we discovered that a lot of the baseboards were not even attached and chunks were falling off the corners that were cut and pieced together and there was nothing attaching them. Some were unrecoverable when dogs got to them. This was obviously a safety issue for our dogs and children. We made calls within a month or so of this happening but never heard back. Given that they never followed up and left us with more damage than necessary we will be looking for another company to do the top floor of our home.

The contractor who remodeled my house had purchased the carpet here and I was just going to go with them again. I went in to make sure I had the correct carpet color. The lady in the shop insisted, adamantly, that I take a carpet sample home. The shop is well out of my way, but she said that I could return it to the guy who would go out to my house to measure the room prior to ordering the carpet. I spent the next 6 weeks basically harassing them into coming out to measure the room. They lost my number, they forgot to call me back, etc. Eventually I gave up on them, took care of the flooring, and forgot about it. Today, 5 months later, they called asking why I had never returned their carpet sample. They seriously jerked me around for 6 weeks when I offered them $800 worth of business, but called to track down a $5 carpet sample. She didn't just ask about it, she scolded me for not returning the carpet sample and told me I was still responsible for it, because they didn't come collect it as they were supposed to. Riiiight. This place is not worth the hassle of doing business with them.

They were excellent up front and their initial work was fantastic with their crews coming in and getting the work done. Trying to get them back to finish the job was a chore. We withheld the last 25% and it still took months to get them back. Their workers left our front door open in the winter after leaving. When they finally came back to repair the landing on our stairs, they left glue and scratches on the wood. They now deny this and, since I paid after they completed the work, site unseen, they have disappeared. I've called their office and they say we are out of our warranty. I call and text Katherine and I'm completely ignored. I wouldn't use them to repair a shed floor at this point.

One actually came out in a timely fashion and gave me an amazing deal that did not "take me to the clearness!" That company has professionals working with you from start to finish (pun intended). Yes, I am referring to Superior. Katherine came to do the estimate and answered all of my questions frankly. She also made sure I had exactly what I asked for all around. I showed her samples from the website and because all floors are different, she made sure the guys put down samples that would look like what I wanted even though it may have been a different stain in the example picture. The floors look so amazing and I am super happy. Katherine also answered all the questions I had post finishing. Anne-Marie assisted me with all the items on the proposal since I was not sure what all the line items meant. I would use them again and would definitely recommend them.
