Dr.Goldberg will quote you a price and then not honor it. Also watch your insurance bill. He bills insurance for work that isn't done

They had watched it continuously yearly. It decided it was "not playing games anymore" and I knew it was infected. I went to urgent care and all the doctor had to do was look at my gums near that tooth to know there was an issue. She prescribed Augmentin. As the tooth had the root canal, I didn't have an idea an infection was there, until the day after Christmas. I couldn't bend down without it throbbing. I couldn't touch way up at the root area without it hurting, and because of where the tooth is located, I couldn't smile or laugh without pain. This Endo Group got me in ASAP so that Dr. Choi could look at it. X-rays were taken, and he confirmed that there was indeed an infection, and that the best option at this juncture would be a procedure in layman's terms, where they go into the gum and clean out all the diseased and infectious tissue, cut a small part of the tip of your root off, and then fill the top off so that nothing gets back down into the root. Dr. Choi did state that he doesn't preform this particular procedure and that only Dr. Nagel does, so they booked me with Dr. Nagel very quickly too considering this was all during the holidays for another consult. Dr. Nagel stated he could perform it after looking at my X-rays and the tooth, and conveyed to me that if I desired to get this tooth fixed more quickly, he worked mostly out of the Framingham office. (I did meet with him and Dr. Choi originally in Milford) When I asked the scheduling department what they could do, luckily for me someone canceled, and I could have the procedure done the day after I saw Dr. Nagel, but in Framingham. The procedure was painless as Dr. Nagel knows exactly how much local is needed, & I felt nothing. The procedure was also extremely quick. You're booked for an hour, but most of that is simply prep (numbing) and it felt like he wasn't in my mouth that long. When we did speak during consult, I did convey to him, that I am the type of individual that doesn't desire a play by play of what someone is doing in my mouth as I suffer from panic attacks. He stated he would only tell me when he needed to leave to take X-rays, which made me feel better. He also asked me NUMEROUS times how I was doing. So he not only performed a pain free surgical procedure, but he made sure that you were doing well every step of the way. They even gave you a blanket if you felt cold. There was ZERO bleeding afterwards because of the cauterizing he did as well. So you're not walking out with a whole bunch of gauze. Or blood all over your lips. He prescribed Amoxicillin, a prescription mouth wash, and I don't like pain killers, so he gave me 800 ibuprofen which you don't even need to take much of it. I'm on day 5 of healing, and I think I took 1 for three days. Not the 2 as I didn't need it. It's healing outside of the gum wonderfully. You wouldn't know he did anything to you. He did inform me on what to expect. I had no bruising which I was happy about (but he stated that could occur), minor swelling that has went down to almost nothing. He genuinely cares about his patients and their concerns. He listens attentively, and you will see that, as he's performing your procedure (whether it's a root canal, or an apic that I had performed) that he listens to all your fears and makes sure you are doing wonderfully every step of the way. He's excellent in post op care instructions, so you know exactly what to expect and what you can and can't do. If I ever need another root canal or this particular procedure, I would not hesitate to book him in a heartbeat. Thank you Dr. Nagel for being an exceptional doctor. It is appreciated more than you'll ever know.

About three years ago, I had a bridge done there, and it was a terrible experience. My gums never healed properly, I had a bad odor coming from my mouth, and the bridge was done incorrectly. Despite charging me a large amount of money, the bridge didn't even last three years. I later went back for a crown issue, and the first thing the dentist said was that I needed the tooth pulled and to pay $5,000. The very next day, I went to another dentist in Attleboro, who was honest, skilled, and truly cared about saving my tooth. He was able to save it and redo the bridge for a reasonable price. Now, they are trying to charge me for services that were never performed. This is completely unacceptable. Please do your research before going to Milford Dental Group. Do not even take your dog there. There are plenty of honest, competent dentists who actually care about their patients--this place is not one of them.

If you are seeking the ABSOLUTE BEST Dentist and staff make Milford Dental Group your dental home…read morefor you and your entire family. I had a dental emergency in August with two broken teeth that were infected. It was one of those rough patches in life where I had also recently been laid off and everything seemed to be going wrong. Not only did Milford Dental Group see me that same morning I called in excruciating pain and treat my immediate dental emergency but the staff and Dentist Dr. Awad treated me with genuine care and consideration as if I was family and what started as a one time emergency visit has become my Dentist for life. I never felt like a stranger from the moment I walked into the office. I am one who has spent my life at age 55 avoiding the dentist because of awful experiences as a child and even as an adult. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I actually look forward to my next visit and am on a regular dental regimen now to have my oral hygiene the best it has been in my lifetime. I must name each person by name who treated me with such welcoming care and compassion: Rayssa, Leslie, Sarah, Emily (the best hygienist ever!) and of course Dr. Awad the best dentist in the area I challenge you to find better 11 out of 10! Thank you all for all that you do it is truly appreciated by me! :-)

I went to two appointments here: one to get X-rays and in the system, then came back the next day…read moreto get a cavity filled. The first appointment was good! The staff was very kind, they made me feel listened to, and when they found cavities I was glad I could go back the next day to fix it. The day I got my cavities done was a whole different story. When I went in that day, I made two things VERY clear: I was anxious, and I would need more numbing than the average person. Every other place I have gotten cavities filled at has listened and given me extra doses of numbing agent if I needed it, even stopping treatment to add more. I got the gel and one shot, and by the time they started working I couldn't feel my teeth but I was less numb than I thought I should have been. My cavity was far back, so it was going to hurt my jaw regardless. They put something for me to bite in my mouth after they sprayed water in the back of my throat and I flinched. As the procedure went on, my jaw began to hurt a LOT, right around where all the work was being done. I told them it hurt, and they kept going. I tried to power through, and thought I was doing okay, but as the pain increased my anxiety got worse. My whole body was shaking on the table and tears started coming out of my eyes. I even wiped them away! They just kept working, and didn't stop until I raised my hand. I then cried for a few minutes and had to calm down a lot. After that they asked me if I was okay throughout the rest of the process, but how could they have not realized I was in distress? By the end of the procedure I could feel what they were doing to my teeth, they did NOT use enough numbing agent. The cherry on the cake was when at the end, after I had cried and been obviously upset, the dentist told me I should get Invisalign or braces because my jaw is misaligned. NOT THE TIME!! I thought I was okay, but the second I walked out of that waiting room I broke down and sobbed. I didn't stop crying for at least half an hour after, I felt so confused and hurt. I had told them I was anxious and I would need extra numbing, and I felt ignored. I have never cried during a filling before. It was the worst experience I have had in a dentist office, and I will not be returning.
