This chippy stands out a mile!
When I'd driven a few miles out to my zumba class only to get there and find out it had been cancelled I wasn't in the mood for exercise anymore. All I wanted to do was take my frustrations out on someone or something and then I drove past this chippy and thought that'll sort me out.
The parking outside isn't great but as the bus service along this road finishes at 7pm I was able to pull in to the bus stop and nip in for some chips.
As soon as I walked in the door the guy behind the counter gave me a big smile and I felt better already. I ordered a Beef and Potato pasty with chips and a mini pot of curry sauce. The whole shabang was lovely. I ate them in the car and then drove home feeling guilty but pleased I had found a new great chippy.
I'm not going to get mad if my zumba class is cancelled again, I'm going to comfort myself with a Mile Oak bag of chips. read more
