Luckily when we went it wasn't so busy. We decided to walk around a little and there is a hallway that leads to this little eating spot. This place looked like it was torn right out of the sweetest little bookshop fairytale. It looks like beauty and the beast library pretty much. Just more of a vintage feel to it. And then we found this tiny nook big enough for two people to eat at. It was right on the water. I couldn't stop smiling when I was here. I got the corn and jalapeño soup. The main course was Halibut, with a Kale side, artichoke's & a cream sauce more akin to a Hollandaise sauce. The fish was a nice portion (finally) and seared on one side and cooked just right. When my lab experiments break down and I feel angry, I go to Sesam. Objectively though, Sesam is indeed better than the mediocre burger/kebab standards of Trondheim, and one of the few who serves real beef patties (not the highest quality beef, but still). You can size up or down the amount of beef up to 250gr(?), and select different toppings. Tourists will probably wonder what's so special about Sesam. But to some Trondhjemmers, Sesam is as close to their hearts as Mama's own cooking. XXXXX
