And the crowd is also very heterogeneous from youngsters to elderly people and the lost tourist. Service is ok and quality is pretty good. This morning, my friend and I decided to go get breakfast instead of paying $20USD for the breakfast our hotel was offering. We walked down the block and found Cafeteria Nydea. The waitress was very welcoming so we decided to give it a try. We ordered a breakfast plate of bacon and eggs, a fruit salad bowl made of pears and pineapple, a mini sausage (salami) sandwich, and an espresso shot with a very yummy pastry. The breakfast plate was the best we've had in our time in Europe. The bacon was perfectly crisp, the bread toasted with butter, and eggs perfectly scrambled. The mini sandwich was really good as well. It only had salami and some tomato in it but the bread made it sooooo good. The bread was perfectly crunchy. It wasn't too crunchy and not too soft. They also have free wifi!!! And nice waiters/waitresses. I will definitely be coming back here every morning for breakfast and an espresso for our 5 day stay in Barcelona.
