I've been wanting to go here for so long because the outside of it and the patio looks so cute! So…read moretoday my three year-old and I decided to go this afternoon and grab a fun little snack and hang out. I know it was just the two of us but the table they sat at was missing a chunks on the top of the table and had lots of weird bulges in it. Which, not a big deal, but I thought it was odd and the only table I saw that was super banged up like this. We decided to just share some nachos since we were just going to hang out and grab a snack, and I understand that this isn't much so the server maybe thought he was going to get a small tip. Little did he know I was going to leave a $15 tip because, being a server in the past, I understand how this is. He ended up getting our order wrong, which is fine ground beef instead of steak beef and the nachos were incredibly cold and the cheese wasn't even melted fine, not a huge deal I guess. However, he never came back to ask us how our food was, never came back to refill waters, just completely ignored our table. When he came back to see if we were all finished, he didn't even ask us how everything was so I wanted to clarify that I had ordered the steak beef and not the ground beef. He insisted that I did not order that and got upset and didn't even say anything else and just walked away from me. I thought this was incredibly rude. I wasn't asking for anything to be fixed, I wasn't asking for any discounts. All I wanted was to clarify with him. It would have not been a big deal if he would've checked on us and at least asked how everything was going. As a former server, I find it incredibly rude and poor service when the server doesn't come back and ask how everything is and if they need anything else. Mind you, this was around 1 o'clock in the afternoon, so the restaurant was fairly empty and not busy. All in all, I'm disappointed we were sat at a really gross table, I'm disappointed in the food, I'm disappointed in the service and like I said, I was so excited to come here and had a very poor experience from the get go. I definitely will not be back.
