Daughter was in accident and they charged her 1200 to tow it 7 miles. How is that legal. Called another tow company there are 250.

It's currently 1250pm I called them for a service call on out tractor I am located 25 min from them and I needed a brake Chamber replaced I called them they told me the charge will be $850 for them to come out and to add insult to injury plua the price of the brake chamber that they quoted me another $250 for a total charge of $1100 they take your misfortune and use it against you they are not in the business to help just to rob you STAY AWAY CALL ANYONE ELSE DOT CALL MIKES read more

This place is the ABSOLUTE WORST!!!! They came to tow our box truck about 8 feet. Nobody told us a price until they were done. The guy was there less than 20 minutes and charged us $500!!! I called the office to discuss and both the lady who answered the phone and then the tough guy who said, after i told him i was going to leave a bad review, "I can make your day a living hell. Dont F with me". DO NOT do business with company. There are plenty of good honest businesses around. Stay away from scam businesses, like this one. Ps. This place is terrible, they not only held my car hostage, but also my belongings, no human decency, no consideration, I was willing to give them the title to my vehicle that was towed 2 1/2 months ago cause they wanted $3500 to release it, but they wanted $300 to let me get my belongings that where in the car, greed at it's finast right there! read more

DONT USE THIS COMPANY!!! One of their drivers got into an accident with my 19 yo son and even apologized for fault at the scene. My son unfortunately did not call the police. Now they are denying it all together and their insurance has denied the claim! Hard lesson learned for my poor son but pathetic of a company to take advantage of a child. read more

Calle911 because my car caught on fire while driving down the highway. After waiting 20 minutes to have the fire put out the state police called these guys for assistance because of the "emergency" situation (apparently having your car on the side of the highway qualifies as an emergency but letting it sit there for 20 minutes while it's on fire isn't a big deal). After my car was loaded and I was in the cab of the tow truck I was told towing would cost me $200... you're a great guy Mike; thanks for not charging me for the extra 6 miles your driver (whom actually deserves a 5 star rating) had to take me to drop my car off and to have your $100,000 tow truck washed. read more

Do not use this company! My daughter was in a car accident and 911 was called because her car wasn't drivable. When Mike's arrived, they told my husband they needed to tow the car to their shop otherwise it would cost him $300 + mileage if they towed it anywhere else. When we arrived to pick up my car from Mike's to have it towed they charged me $390! $300 to tow it and $90 for storage fees. My daughter wrecked at 9 pm on Saturday night and we paid for the car before noon on Monday. Also, our tow truck couldn't arrive until after 4:30, so I asked Mike's if they could pull the car out of the fence so it could be picked up. They said it wasn't a problem. I went to make sure the car was pulled out around 5:30 and it wasn't! I had to call and speak with manager to have it taken care of. Do NOT use this company! They will just rip you off! read more

Charge up the a$$, rake you over the coals and are very unprofessional. If possible I would avoid going with this over priced and rude company. There are better services out there! P.S. Other tow companies have stated how Mike's charge rediculous prices. It's understandable that everyone has to make a profit but for what I needed help with and the situation I was in they wanted me to pay up to $700!!! read more

Mike's towing is a RIP off. My car was towed and I live 2and a half hours away and can only get there on Saturdays. They tell me that they are not opened on weekends and continue to charge storage on my car. This is so my charges get to high enough so I can't afford it and they will file for a abandoned vehicle and get a title and sell the car for a profit. This should be illegal. I believe it's called extortion. And thet sure don't deserve one star either. read more

They towed our car from an apt building then lied and said we took it on friday which our car wasnt there on a friday. They charged us for friday-monday because they wouldnt let us come get it. Then they threatened to take out a salvage title on the car and sell it if we didnt come get it on monday morning. The police didn't help either they just stood there while the old lady threatened us. read more
