CAC workers were on time and showed up reliably, which was helpful. The front and back of slab were plumb, no issues - but the left and right sides were not square as measured using the 3-4-5 square method, creating a problem for tile work. The discrepancy was enough to delay tile install by another contractor. It had to be made right or the tile surface would have been uneven and unattractive. When asked to inspect his work product and make it right, the owner Carlos responded that his measurements were perfect and he had made no mistakes. What could have been resolved with action and accuracy instead led us to hire someone we trust (a different yelp-verified business) who squared the slab and lumpy surround expertly. Their work wasn't bad but the part that wasn't good was mishandled with a closed attitude, unpleasant communication and delays. Finally we recovered $300 of the $450 we incurred to fix the surface and get on with tiling. But not without stress or dramatics. C A C Masonry owner used pressure tactics to get me to remove my factual review, and when I sent his text to Yelp Business, they encouraged me to repost. Their message in photos. If you hire them, do it by the book. contract, communication and course-correct as needed on the spot. Pay attention!

Back in October 2020, I noticed a hole in the main walkway on the dock/slip where a 2x6 plank had rotted and broke away. Instead of replacing the broken plank, a orange traffic cone was placed at the hole. Also near the same area, one of the pilings was more than halfway rotted through. Maybe google earth will shadow the "traffic cone" and I wouldn't be surprised if it's still there. If you have a deep keel boat, forget it. At low tide, even a shoal draft 4'4" will sit in the mud.

I was struck by the sincerity of the staff.. not the usual slickness that is accompanied by questionable sympathy. I will say the office building is quite outdated and a bit run down.. Actually doesn't smell that great.... but that is not why we come. We come for the grounds... which are beautiful and cater to a wide variety of cultures. It is very interesting to see the different ways people memorialize their loved ones, America is a melting pot and so are our funeral/burial customs. The niche here leans way from the mainstream American cemetary... although it certainly isnt too far out of the box. It is nice that they make it clear that they can find a way to honor almost any cultural tradition. They don't have headstones( just in laid markers) ... so all you see is beautiful green punctuated by a few family mausoleums. There is a lake in the middle with swans and ducks.It is placed on some gently sloping hills with some tall old trees. They have several themed gardens.. including a heroes garden, and lovely tranquility garden ( catering to the Asian population) .. as well as several others. Usually cemeteries are such depressing, creepy places.. but this looks like a well maintained park.. The main mausoleum, is quite nice and airy.. It has gone through a few style incarnations over the years.. but it actually works well... i found the building to have a very serene overall effect. I came to be of comfort to a friend, but also ended up finding a place that just might suit my own family one sad day.
