Was a regular customer here.. but will never come back after tonight. Ordered a VEGAN calzone - specifically because of a food allergy. The person on the phone confirmed the order back and everything. When food came, didn't think anything of it and started eating. Turns out, it wasn't vegan. Called the place up and told them this was serious and the girl on the phone responded with "yea the one you got isn't vegan they made a mistake." so nonchalant. Only thing I was offered was them to remake the calzone in vegan form. After I had just ate half of the other one.. no thanks!!!! How does a place mess that up? I ordered on a week night around 8pm. I wanted to make sure I knew exactly how much I was spending, so I tried to order online. After multiple attempts, the site wasn't working correctly so I decided to call and order instead but I wrote down exactly how much everything was so I'd not overspend. I called in and the girl that answered the phone could not have been more disinterested. I had to spell my street name literally 6 times (and it's a major street in town). After finally getting through my order she told me my total was over 10 dollars more then what I had calculated based on the menu prices (I added in delivery fees and tax). When I asked her why, she gave a long, irritated sigh before breaking down each items price. I think that 40 dollars for a personal pizza and half sub and wrap is a little much, but I was hungry and the food sounded good. So I ordered it and she told me 30-45 mins delivery time. My food arrived over an hour and 20 mins later, and was not even warm. While the sub was delicious, the pizza and the wrap were mediocre at best. I was so disappointed. You would expect at those prices that the items would be tasty. I'm new to the area and looking for a new regular place to order from, but this definitely won't be it. read more

i have to say when it comes to customer service and food at Mike's they have earned 5 stars from me . I would say we order from Mike's on average at least once a week. I've been going here since it open in 2014, on and off for the last year and half. Since sept 2015 this is the only place I go. I must say in the beginning it was iffy meaning that depending on the cook your food was either great or sucked. In the past 6 months they must have the same cook working cause the food is always amazing. No matter what I order it's always kick ass. From slices to special pies, fried foods to dinners with side salads it taste great. I love the wings they always are crispy outside and not chewy chicken. The Strombolis and calzones I order are always made to order, even if they have one on display they will make me a fresh one so it tastes great. I love their pasta always cooked perfect. I like that I can order online and have a choice automatically to pick thin crust. I love how if they don't have an option for a add on with a extra charge and if you write it in comments they don't charge you more. Also if you go there and grab a few of the grab hub coupons to order online for 10 off a 15 order you can place more then one order by using different emails and use multiple coupons to save even more and they allow it. The prices have gone up a little bit over time but that's the same as everywhere. Over all this is my go to place to order take out. I don't ever dine in or really do delivery cause money is tight and I would feel bad if I couldn't tip very well ( I use to be a driver n my other half was a waitress and We know know much tips mean per order) but on the few occasions I do get delivery they are usually fast and the window frame is 90% on point. Drivers are nice, friendly and always have a pen or change for you. They also very friendly for the little time they r there and even though they want to be out asap to get back for the next order they still treat you well. The inside staff is normally friendly especially the young kids. The older staff is so so. A few of them can be rude but that's normal for the amount of hours they are there. Even if they are rude they still thank you for coming in. The kids are always smiles and Happy. The wait staff is friendly, food comes out quick depending on what you order ( fried food or slices within 5 mins). Always a thank you, see you again, and have a great day. The inside is clean and updated, can't speak of the bathrooms never used them. I never got my own drinks for either takeout or dine in so I can't speak of the one reviewers comment on distance. They always get my drinks for me and bring them to me either way. read more

Mike's used to be a great place, with great service, and great prices. I'm not sure if they got a new owner or what, but holy cow! They completely changed their menu, raised all the prices, and the service was horrible. I ordered 2 half subs, 3 slices of pizza, and chicken fingers kids meal... The total was almost $40! I got there to pick up my order and they forgot the kids chicken fingers. Rather than keep the rest of my food warm, they gave it to me, made me sit and wait, then finally gave me the rest of my order. No apology or anything. I've been coming to Mikes Pizza for a pretty long time and each time the service gets better and better. When you enter the restaurant feels like a classic pizza place with super comfortable seating. I ordered take out from here for the first time today and it was great! I ordered a chicken ceasar salad, sausage stromboli, mozzerella sticks and a slice. The chicken ceasar was to die for, the make their own croutons, there was freshly grated romano on top and they added roasted peppers, it comes with two little garlic and herb breadsticks which was great. I have to say i was impressed. Mozzerella sticks are mozzerella sticks they were good, stromboli was good altho my husband got sausage and im not a big fan of the sausage being sliced it ruins it for me. But I must say the food almost took two hours to get the pizza was not thin crust and well done like I asked for and the wings had no sauce. If I could give a zero review I would. Have been to this pizzeria on numerous occasions with no issue (service/food) until yesterday. I went in to place an 'eat in' lunch order. There was a young man and woman at the counter inputting some information into the register. The gentleman appeared to be going thru a training process and was eager to take my order. The woman told him to focus on what she was doing when I stood at the counter which felt like a lifetime but was around 2 minutes. The woman told him not to answer the phone and looked at me and said we will be with you in a minute which after 3 more minutes I was never asked what I would like to order. Customer service is lacking at this restaurant where the customer is not their 1st priority. A person should not have to wait to place an order because the person working at the counter wants all the attention in training and not focusing on what is important...the CUSTOMER which drives their business. Will never go there again. Shouldn't have to wait for someone to acknowledge me in order to spend my money. There are many other pizzerias in the area. read more

This review is strictly for the Buffalo chicken slice/pizza and the man who works there. The Establishment itself is really nice and clean inside with lots of ambience. I came in one night and ordered 4 slices, 2 buffalo chicken, 1 white, and 1 bruschetta. Also orderd a buffalo chicken wrap, and 5 garlic knots. The bruschetta and white weren't too bad, but i wasn't impressed. The white wasn't too bad but was sooo thin and the cheese was laid on so thinly i could barely taste it, also the crust was so hard i had a really hard time chewing it. The bruschetta slice just fell apart on me as soon as i started to bite into it with the tomatoe sauce just falling splat on the ground, and the little bit of cheese that was on there sliding off. Now the main reason i went there, the buffalo chicken slice. I had walked in once before just to look and when i saw that they carried buffalo chicken i was so ecstatic i wanted to come back and try it in comparison to Pronto's which is a little farther down on route 9 south. I figured if it was the same i can get it for much cheaper at Mike's since Pronto's sells theirs for either $4 or $4.25 and Mike's sells it for $2.75 a slice. Unfortunately I was really disappointed. It was pretty bad, it had this funky after taste to it, i can't put my finger on it but it was something sour, and it had a lot and i mean a lot of tomato sauce, with barely any cheese on it, while the chicken on top was barely there. i counted exactly 4 sausage like crumbles of chicken. I had one slice and my little brother ate the other, but i couldn't finish mine and threw it out, it tasted nothing like Buffalo chicken honestly. Though my poor brother ended up eating his because he didn't know he didn't have to finish it if he didn't like it. For the pizza i've definitely had better. As for the rest of their menu i only ordered a buffalo chicken wrap, and that i remember tasting much better than the pizza. Also tried their garlic knots and they were kind of meh....didn't really like them either. The lady that took my order was super nice, but the guy handing it to me, it might have been the owner (Mike?) himself was really mean and didn't even smile at me once, even after forgetting to give me a part of my order (the garlic knots) and having to go heat them then give them to me. I even smiled and thanked him like 3 times but he was just kind of frowning the entire time that it turned me off. Maybe he was having a bad day but honestly a smile wouldn't hurt. I have yet to try any other items on their menu, but i will be back to give them another chance next time i'm on the east coast, They do have quite a large menu with a lot of sandwiches, and as i did like the wrap i got from there so we'll see. I'll update my review accordingly after. Though for sure i won't be back for their pizza. read more

So I have been to Mike's twice now and I have to say this is a very good place ! The menu is huge maybe to huge Mike's everything from pizza to a gyro which I had and it was very good ! The restaurant itself is nice and modern complete with digital menu boards it is nice to see a restaurant go the extra mile it makes me have more confidence in the food which is great ! They lose a star because there bathrooms were not really in service and I really never got a straight answer from the staff ! read more

I just ate THE BEST sandwich ever!!! I literally moaned out loud with each bite! It was a Chicken Parm in Vodka Sauce and let me just say OMG! There was sooo much fresh mozzarella dripping off this crispy outside, unbelievably tender ( can I say it again...unbelievably tender) chicken sandwich. The bread was nice and crusty as it should be and the small cup of vodka sauce that came on the side nestled inside of the bag like a great surprise made this lunch an experience! I had to force myself to chew slowly and savor the bites because while I wanted to devour this nice big sandwich I loved it so much that I wanted to enjoy it for lunch and dinner so I forced myself to wrap half of it for later. This was my 1st time eating at Mike's pizza and I'm not happy with the experience. I ordered a buffalo chicken salad from the menu to go and asked for no blue cheese crumbles or pico de gallo on it. This was my only alteration. After waiting 25 minutes for just a salad, which was the only thing I ordered, I left and came home to eat my salad. I opened my food once I got home and there was no ranch dressing, no breadsticks which it says on the menu is supposed to be included, and no celery or carrots in my salad. Now, it might be might fault for not checking my food before leaving, but I don't think I should have to worry about my food being correct when I'm taking it to go. I rarely review a spot, and never give restaurants bad reviews even if the food wasn't good. However, I've given Mike's Pizza Parlin two far shots. Last year, I remember ordering over the phone and asking the ingredients because of an allergy and I got, the sucking of the teeth and straight up attitude. I hung up the phone and swore I would never give them a chance. Tonight I order at 10:14 pm, yea I know a bit late but I've NEVER had a problem with Santino's and ordering late. I specifically asked for curbside pick up and was told there was no problem with that. I arrived at 10:25 and called them to let them know outside. I was given a whole attitude for not know the name that the order was under, when I was never asked for one. Whatever though right? The man walks my food outside, and I said thank you before the food was even in our car. Completely ignored me and I then said your welcome. I never try to bash someone's hustle, but I am giving you my business and money. You as the establishment should respect that.
