I bought my first push mower from them in 1987 and it still runs like a champ. Jeff and staff have a ton of experience and talent for almost anything mechanical and even those pesky tubeless tires that now need to be re-tubed like my 1993 Kubota and 2003 Deere Gator. With Cammps now closed further north Nemes is a rare gem in our area. Those other reviews complaining of cost are missing the big picture, more and more of everything these days including equipment is built to be replaced rather than repaired. I stopped in this fall because my leaf blower was not at it's best. Jeff suggested a product called mechanic in a bottle. A few oz in the tank and following instructions it was good as new. If you own good equipment and keep it serviced properly it can last for decades - that is the real value of having Jeff and Pam being nearby when you need them, providing service for equipment reliability and a lower total cost of ownership.

I was totally wrong.... I wish I can give it a zero star...My tractor has some noise when stepped the gas pedal all the way down...trying to get that fixed. Contacted Joseph J Nemes & Sons Inc and they picked it up. Did not hear back from them for one week and I called and they told me the tractor fell apart and cannot move anymore, on top of it I will have to pay $200 for the labor. What a joke!!! Lesson learned. Before, my tractor can move, just some noise. Now, this guy broke it into parts and cannot put them back, it cannot move after the "repair" and I will have to pay $200. Isn't this wonderful??? If you cannot fix it or thought it is too complicated, jut ship it back without breaking it. Now you broke it into parts cannot put it back...and you charge me for the $200 repair fee??? I will have to spend another $275 with Tractor Joe to put all the parts back together... My neighbors, if you have tractors/tools to repair, do you best to avoid this guy. I learned this through a hard and expensive way. Tractor Joe charged a little bit more, but they know tractor and they did the job.

The review was what you did like it or not. And telling me how long you have been in business while treating customers as you do only means there a lot of people that don't mind being harassed. This will be added to the review of your only concern was not your treatment of customers but your fear of impact from me letting people know. It shows what kind of person you are and how the review was not only just but needs to have further detail and pictures of the moss still there in large patches a year later.You have your money our business is done. I contacted lawn doctor corporate to see about how they want to address continuing harassment and the guarantee that is suppose to be there when a customer sees unsatisfactory work. As well as the BBB to see if they can help. A little side note. Yelp is a great place to show concern for customer issues. To decide here to ok unprofessional behavior lets future potential customers decide on their own to see if they want to go through this and if the lawn doctor guarantee is real. I suggest everyone check the internet for lawn doctor complaints. You'll see my treatment and the unsatisfactory work is common with lawn doctor.

I decided to enlist a landscaper not only to correct the issue leftover from the plumbers, but to do a general cleanup of our entire property. I tried calling a couple of other landscaping companies before contacting J&A. One told me that they couldn't help me, and I had to play phone tag with another company, which was frustrating and annoying and just didn't sit right with me. I would call them and the phone would go to voicemail after one ring, even if I called back minutes after they left me a voice message. When I called J&A, Marvin answered on the second ring and when I explained what we were looking for, said he could come over that evening. He was there when we got home from work, and he spent over half an hour with my husband and I walking through our property and discussing what we wanted done. He even pointed out some drainage issues that I didn't even know we had until he showed me. When we were satisfied, he told me that his crew would come by the following week, weather depending. This morning, we left for work and our property looked disastrous. When we got home, the work was finished. It looks beautiful. The service was prompt, efficient, and he did exactly what we'd discussed. I couldn't be more pleased at their responsiveness and the quality of the work done. I will definitely keep Marvin and his crew in mind when we inevitably need more work done in the future.
