They're heavy on texting which is fine with me. I ask a question, they're quick to respond. The staff are friendly too. They offer a variety of lessons. They want to celebrate your child (birthday, accomplishment, award, etc.) which is nice. As for the value, I think we're getting our time and money's worth. I think no matter where you go, time and money will be spent, but it's the quality and attentiveness that matters and so far I'm seeing that for my son.

Ms. Pita made us feel comfortable and right at home and she was so patient with the kids. She will truly be missed and is a wonderful addition to the school. He was registered for the 4pm class for 18months-2 years because that time worked out best for us for a while. Also most of the music fun time classes are geared toward teaching similar subject matter. Originally signing up, I thought this would be a fun and play type class... which it is, however they teach music theory and how to read notes and read music which is super beneficial. We had to leave because we are trying other extracurricular activities , however we will be back when he's ready to learn an instrument! Only con is i work until 4pm so , I wish there were more afternoon spots available for music fun time for his age. She encourages every student with patience and positivity, making learning music fun and inspiring. You can truly feel how much she cares about her students and their growth. Ms. Victoria, the violin teacher, is wonderful as well -- positive, energetic, patient, and very professional. She creates such a warm and encouraging learning environment for her students. Overall, this academy is a very special place filled with talented teachers who truly teach from the heart. I'm so glad they have 3 locations so more families can experience such an amazing music academy. More than 5 stars!

PLEASE READ! Protect your children and keep them away from the owners at Applause Music Academy…read more They recently posted a disturbing picture of my 6 YEAR OLD GRANDDAUGHTER on their social media. It was heavily filtered and made her look OLDER ! They gave her cleavage ! . Her lips are fuller and made to look as if she has make up on. She's half Filipino and half Mexican and the filter also made her look completely Asian. When I contacted the owners through email they took the picture down immediately but did NOT apologize. The next day, my daughter and I met the owners in person through my request and it did not go well. He and his wife Dr. Tig were not apologetic at all. He would not tell me who edited the picture and he would not admit that it was wrong. I asked him point blank 3 times if it was wrong in which he stood silent. I was blown away by his refusal to admit it which made me think that HE was the one who did the editing . He claimed that it was done to clear up the background of the picture which is a total lie. This same picture was posted a few months ago without being changed. Another reason it's false is because there are actually 3 people in the picture and all 3 were made to look more Asian. One person was actually a white male and was completely changed into an Asian woman. He kept saying it was not intentional and he would not apologize. After 25 minutes of the meeting going nowhere, my daughter and I got up to leave in which Dr Tig finally admitted some regret but it was too late because it was like pulling teeth to make them feel sorry for what they or their employee) had done. They did not empathize nor did they realize the seriousness of the picture that was posted. Two days later, my daughter received an email stating that my granddaughters were both being terminated from the academy. It was easier for them to terminate them instead of saying sorry. This is very upsetting about how they handled this situation. They need to take posting children's pictures seriously! Children are precious and should be treated like it! 0 stars for Applause Music Academy

At that time at least 50% of guitars in rock were made in California with notable exception Kramer, of Neptune, NJ and, of course, Gibson. GMW initially became known for repainting, customizing and refurbishing guitars but at some point GMW moved into hand-made custom guitar production as a boutique guitar maker. About fifteen years ago, Moser left to form his own company and Lee remained to run GMW and build guitars on his own with a small staff. Having dealt with Lee on two custom guitar orders I can honestly say he's a tremendous guy and a pleasure to do business with. Old school by nature, custom orders get custom attention with phone calls and emails. The client is never ignored or felt like a number. Communication is quick and timely and Lee responds to email in a matter of minutes. I've had him return emails to me at 8am EST when he is on west coast time. From order and initial deposit to completion, build time can vary substantially. My first build was a Charvel-style single humbucker super-strat that took roughly three months. The other project, just completed, is a telecaster that took a total of nine months due to detailed work on the neck - stainless frets and trapezoid inlays. Quality is unsurpassed at GMW. There is no assembly line production unlike say, Carvin, there is true hand construction including assembly and final setup by Lee himself. Painting is done by staff and GMW is known for custom paint jobs that larger guitar makers either can't or will not undertake. Prices are very reasonable by custom guitar standards. I would guess 50% of the cost of a Jackson or an ESP custom order. Tremendous bang for your money. You will not be disappointed. Check out gmwguitars.com for more information. My mom told them they had to ask their auntie if it would be okay, in which I did say yes and told my brother that he will have to find a moving company to help move it to his house if he wants it (had no idea that there were piano movers). My brother ended up finding D & J Piano Movers, who are right out of Azusa. My brother called them on a Wednesday night and they gave him a quote right away (it cost $200 to move the piano about 8- 10 miles away from my house). D & J Piano Movers was great because they did let us know that they would be able to pick up the piano this past Monday (it would have been earlier but my schedule didn't work to be where I would be at home during designated times). On Thursday, they let my brother know that they would come on Monday between 9- 11 am. They called on Monday morning to let us know that they be arriving in about 15 minutes. They parked on the curb by our house around 8:50 am and got ready to start moving the piano out of our living room. The process was smooth and easy. I also asked them to take a box to my brother's house that held all the sheet music and music books. Overall, it was a good and positive experience and appreciate that D & J Piano Movers was able to give us a time frame to when they would arrive. And also give us a call when they were going to be on their way. And I am glad that our family piano can go on to the next generation to be used and hopefully just as loved as I had in my childhood.
