We recently moved out of a rental property and wanted to leave it in excellent condition which included cleaning the carpets. Mike showed up promptly and began on the bedrooms and stairs. He explained he scrubbed the carpets then went back over them. They looked amazing especially the high traffic areas on the stairs. He was familiar with having done the house before so that also helped and does a couple other neighbors in the area. Reasonably priced. I like that he also takes credit cards for payment. I can't say enough about Mike's Carpet Cleaning. Truly a man who takes pride in his work. At my house we have a lot of foot traffic around here, plus we have 3 dogs, 1 of which is old and leaves us surprises on our carpet in the morning sometimes - so our carpet takes a beating. When Mike gets here our carpet is usually thrashed, and then by the time he's done here our carpet looks brad new- and stays that way for months. I don't really know what machines or chemicals he's using, but whatever it is it does magic to our carpet and its pet safe too! Mike's carpet cleaning is a great company. Mike the owner is knowledgeable, honest and does a wonderful job. I manage a vacation rental estate in town and we have used Mike many times. He has been able to restore expensive microfiber furniture to looking new after our busy rental seasons. We've referred him to family friends as well. Mike is a true professional when it comes to seeking the source of a stain and effectively treating it. He was able to remove dog urine from a floor rug of a friend of mine that we referred him to. What might have otherwise seemed to be a loss, the cost to have him clean it was far less than replacing the rug. And it looks and smells great. Mike has also helped me in my own home. Mike responded quickly when my water heater exploded and leaked all over. He helped us clean up the water damage and prevent future problems. If it wasn't for his quick action and experience we would have had a much larger problem resulting in more damage. We had a restoration company quote thousands of dollars to restore our water damage and they were scamming us saying we had mold. Mike came back after helping us with the initial clean up and offered a second opinion using his moisture meter proving them wrong. His knowledge prevented us from ripping out drywall and tile in a bathroom that we were lead to believe by the restoration company was soaked with water. All it took was Mike's moisture detector to discredit the other company's scam and save us tons of money. I appreciate Mike's punctuality, honesty and professionalism. I have a cream colored berber carpeting in my home that is 30 plus years old. It really doesn't have an issue with staining just overall dirt and dinginess. I hate to admit that I hadn't had the carpet cleaned in about 5 years and it desperately needed it. Mike came out and cleaned the carpet and it is just amazing! They are bright and clean again and I haven't had the issue with the stains coming back like I did with other carpet cleaners. He truly does a phenomenal job. Instead of trying to work out an appointment he Continues to argue with me about it, when clearly he doesn't have his information or appointments straight. I used the other 2 big companies over the last several years and was always disappointed in the end. Heavily traveled areas showed the dirt within weeks of the cleaning. I used Yelp and found Mike's Carpet Cleaning. Mike is the owner/operator so you speak directly to him. He gave me a quote over the phone based on my description of the areas to be cleaned and he honored that quote. The other big 2 always tried to upsell and/or told me the quote wasn't accurate from the web. My carpets after Mike's 3 stage cleaning process look brand new and they are 11 years old. No one else uses the 3 step process - they all use a 2 step process. Mike sprays the cleaner on, USES A SCRUBBER TO LOOSEN THE DIRT, then uses the extractor. It made all the difference in the world - the dirt is gone! I would recommend Mike to anyone who needs good carpet cleaning and I definitely plan on using him each time I need to redo the process. I have used several carpet cleaning companies, both large and small businesses. Mike's Carpet Cleaning is the best I have used. Although, we had installed beautiful high quality carpet when we moved in over 10 years ago, you wouldn't know it by its appearance - our carpets were VERY dirty - we have 2 kids and 2 dogs (one of which is a puppy) and small home. The puppy had several accidents in both of my kids rooms, so it was not going to be an easy task. I searched for small local business here in San Clemente and found Mike's Carpet Cleaning on Google. I called Mike and he picked up the phone right away, I needed our carpets cleaned asap, he was able to schedule me the next day. Mike actually arrived to our home early - he was friendly, knowledgeable, honest and hardworking. He even referred me to local carpet business that offers discounts on scrap carpet (which can be used for small rooms). After cleaning our carpets, the following day, I noticed an area on carpet in my daughters room that didn't look as clean the rest of the carpet. I called him about this and he came out that day to fix it at no charge. My carpets look almost brand new - I never thought they would come out so beautifully.
