She's somewhat hidden in a business park in Westlake Village, but once you find her it's very convenient to Westlake Blvd. and the 101 freeway. Back to the haircut and beard trim....Sunny knows what she's doing and spent an hour with me starting from a shampoo and haircut, before washing my beard and then directing a steamer to my face. Next she applied a number of lotions that culminated in a straight-edge razor to the borders of my beard, before meticulously trimming my short beard itself. A variety of sensuous experiences (see difference in meaning to "sensual") were all part of the process. A shot of fine Japanese whiskey was also part of the deal. No complaints from me for $80. I'll be back to see Sunny regularly when I'm in Westlake Village!

During my one and only visit in this barbershop, I 100% felt like an outsider. It definitely seemed to be like a bunch of regulars that go to the shop and outsiders really aren't welcome. The barber that helped me was not very friendly at all. It was very middle of the road. Basically did my haircut in silence and paid to leave. It's very ironic I got an email almost the same week that I had scheduled another appointment with my barber. For the last 3 1/2 years and for every single big life moment i've gone to a different barbershop for EVERY haircut. So to receive a message after all this time seems incredibly peculiar. I feel like it was worthwhile to actually post a review because I was so indifferent to this shop. However, I definitely have a problem getting a text message and an email almost 4 years later after using the shop once! I immediately made sure to unsubscribe, but that's really disappointing. Just because you send a text message receipt doesn't mean you should bother customers years later when they haven't visited your shop ever again.
