Dr. Copenhaver is quite possibly the most caring, prepared and deeply engaged medical practitioner…read morethat I have encountered. This is significant as I am a 53 year old professional who has been blessed to enjoy world-class health care over the past 30 years. The nomadic lifestyle afforded by serving as a Professor and Statistician at 4 of our nation's recognized institutions of higher education has positioned me in proximity to West Virginia University Medical Center, The University of Pennsylvania, The Cleveland Clinic and The Ohio State University. I have been privileged over the last three decades to have selected my care-givers from the ranks of our nation's very best practitioners. Dr. Coperhaver's curriculum vitae establishes him comfortably among this prominent cohort. From The Ohio State University to the serving as an Officer in the USAF his preparation is exemplary. His assuring candor, comfortable sense-of-humor, caring touch and warm approachability foretell of accomplishments that would justifiably lead many professionals to a cool aloof posture. Dr. Copenhaver demands this same compassionate approach from his truly talented staff. How many folks enjoy a visit to the dentist.....I do! Sincerely; Carl. E. Stein, Ed.D.

The office is located off Eisenhower Dr and across from a gated apartment complex. There is parking to the right and along the front. The waiting area was clean and cute and I was met by two friendly young ladies who checked me in. I met with Dr. Hinchey who was a very knowledgeable and direct person. I was in/out without 20 minutes total from checking in and going to the back. He came in, introduced himself, took a quick look in my mouth reviewed my X-rays and then told me his recommendations. We decided to remove only 1 of my wisdom teeth and I was able to get an appointment set up for the following day. Surgery day was pretty standard. I took care of my remaining balance after insurance and then was taken to the room where my procedure would take place. Everyone was well organized and I was in and out within 30 minutes which is faster than I thought it would be. I removed 1 stars due to one of the staff members and how she treated me before and after my surgery and my driver.

Care is great... business practices not so much. Nothing but billing issues with them -…read moremissappropriation of funds, lack of claims... a total mess in thier business office.

Consumer Warning: Poor Billing Practices and Communication…read more I strongly advise seeking dental care elsewhere. In my experience, this office appears more focused on collecting money than providing quality care or transparent billing. This has happened to me twice now: I made payments at the time of service, only to be notified a year later of an outstanding balance--now inflated with late fees. In the first instance, the balance was communicated to my husband instead of me. Most recently, I had informed the office multiple times that I was no longer a patient. Despite updating my address, they failed to enter it correctly into their system. For over a year, they claimed to have sent me letters--none of which I received, presumably because they were returned to sender. They also claimed to have sent texts, which I never received. I only became aware of the issue after receiving an email. When I finally called, the representative I initially spoke to was helpful, but the office manager offered very little resolution--waiving only $90 of nearly $300 in fees. This feels unreasonable, especially given that I would have addressed the balance promptly had I been properly notified. Now, I am left dealing with this unnecessarily stressful situation while caring for a newborn. In addition to these billing concerns, I have spent significant money at this office--only for my current dentist to repair and correct multiple issues with their previous work. In my opinion, these are deeply concerning practices. I recommend seeking care from more transparent providers--such as Aspen Dental or other reputable offices.
