I assumed the owner would come and inspect the job. I waited and eventually got a message asking when I was going to authorize the payment. I replied that I was hesitant to do so because there were several things that needed to be done and the quality of the work was questionable. I reluctantly authorized the payment and never heard from them again. They never inquired as to what my concerns were. I just let it go. Recently, I noticed that two of the windows were leaking. The water damage had been hidden from my view by curtains. I called W.T.E. and they said they would have someone come out and look at it in days to months, they were very busy. Besides the water damage there were several things that were just not done well that I am not going to list because this review is long enough. I am extremely disappointed. I'm trying to be restrained but I'm really not happy right now. I spent all that money that I really don't have for a subpar job at best. W.T.E. seems to have good reviews and the owner said he wanted to do the job right, I guess I'm the unlucky one. I think the problem was the crew he contracted with. To end on a positive note, I did get a new shower different installer that I was 100% satisfied with.

To be fair, the previous tenants used black outdoor spray paint but, when I tried to ask about the quote and why it was so expensive, they never got back to me. Not only was it over $9,300 for a 10ft hallway kitchen, but they didn't even try to help me understand why they were asking for that much or try to work with me. During the quote process, they offered to repaint the trim and get rid of all the black, and have it done within a week and a half. The cabinet drawers and faces were already completely ready to paint. All that needed done was the trim, door trim, around the cabinets, and the cabinets themselves. I've seen other great reviews, nothing detailing the price, if you're thinking about working with them, ask for a quote, can't hurt, but always compare with other companies and other reviews. I'd be willing to hear them out about why it was so expensive. Maybe the spray paint makes it infinitely harder or the fact that it was black? Either way, way out of our budget ‍

Affluent Exteriors was very professional from start to finish on my roof, Quality installation,…read moreattention to detail, and our rep was very educational as well, I learned quite a bit about the insurance process, they were able to get my cedar shake roof completely bought from insurance even after a denial, and then a very small settlement offer, they never gave up and were able to get the roof completely paid for. They are incredible at dealing with insurance to get you everything you need regarding insurance claims! I also learned some very disturbing code violation/corner cutting trends that most other roofers do here in Lubbock,all without the homeowners knowledge. The fact that Affluent Exteriors does not partake in the seemingly "accepted roofing practices" in Lubbock speaks volumes to their transparancy and integrity! Very impressive. I would not hesitate to reccomend them to anyone who actually wants a roof done right.

He quoted window replacement (for a significant amount less than an out of town company quoted a couple years ago), skirting replacement, and replacing a couple of siding panels. There was a miscommunication about the scheduled start date and they were short some skirting materials that extended the finish date. The crew (Henry and Greg) were polite, considerate, and skilled. They never left the house open - as quick as they pulled a window out they had a new one in - and even though they couldn't finish the skirting they used other material to keep the underside closed until they did finish. And the trim they installed around the inside of the windows looks great! Dave came by when the work was done to inspect the job and collect the check, waiting until the job was all the way finished to ask for payment. I will recommend D & B Ultra Exteriors to anyone that needs windows, siding, or skirting.
