I wish I could give 10 stars. Could not ask for any better than that. I had my first son Ethan 23 days ago, Fadwah and her assistant Lauren were my midwives and provided me with the most extraordinary home birth experience. My journey with Fadwah started three months before my labor, though we had differences in thinking I always felt like Fadwah makes the perfect balance between giving here opinion and doing things in the most professional way and at the same time letting me decide what is best for me. She empowered me to always follow my instincts and trust myself. She'll put all the information on the table with complete honesty and integrity. I felt like I have a partner that I can trust with my whole heart. Fadwah provided me with all variations and solutions for every situation and together we decided what is BEST FOR ME. Her first priority was me and my child's health. Fadwah was (and still is) there for me for any questions and concerns that I had even postpartum. Not the type of person that is done with you once the child arrived to the world.. At the day of birth she and Lauren arrived within less than and hour from the time I called them to come. They were there to mentor me, help my husband with all necessary preparation for birth. From pouring hot water to the tub to holding my hand to the measurements that were taken. Nothing happened without my permission, everything in the proses of labor was with my agreement and on my time. They had a calm, peaceful attitude and endless amount of patience.. like it should be when a woman is giving birth. They knew how to approach me and what are my mental strengths and knew how to work with me. They took care of every little detail, and trust me- in labor there are no little details! My son's head pumped out with his hand attached to his cheek, and they needed to help with straightening his arm to make it easier on him and me to push him out. They identified that he was in a funny position while he was inside during active labor and instructed me to be in certain positions that will help me to give birth easier and quicker. It was a transformational experience that I already want to experience again- and my husband and I have no doubt about doing this with Fadwah and Lauren once again. I've been treated like a goddess, like a birthing queen, like an empowered woman and I knew throughout the whole labor that I got this. Fadwah works with your mindset, with YOUR GOALS and your birth plan- it's all about you. I strongly recommend to choose this harmonious team (and also my doula Gina), that worked so well together throughout the whole time (and it was long enough). Also, the team was extremely professional once the baby was born, there was a very structured process of measurements for me and for the baby. I needed a few stitches since I had a few tears, and it was all taken care of immediately. I chose to not vaccinate my child in the day of birth so all the other measurements were taken right away other the the vaccines. The team did not leave my home before I was fed and taught me how to make my baby latch. They cleaned the whole house, and left my home many hours after labor, after they washed the dishes and dirty bloody towels from birth. Fadwah helps me to take a shower and took care of me even though the team was already tired- they didn't leave me until I was completely settled and relaxed. There is no way to express the comfort in this kind of treatment. I didn't expect that, and I'm still overwhelmed by it. Waking up to a super clean house the day after birth- when you can even imagine cleaning- and see that everything is so clean... ohhh that's just amazing! What ever it is that you expect- it will be beyond your expectations. They came back to visit me the day after, then two days after and a week after the birth to do a follow up. There is also a month after follow up. To me this is a 10* star service. Fadwah and Lauren treated me as a sister, as a daughter, as a friend and as a woman that can do everything I put in my mind to. Don't expect anything but pure support and high end professionals, super knowledgeable, patient and open minded women that with all their experiences, are still humble enough to keep learning from every birthing experience- cause we're all different after all. Fadwah, Lauren and Vanessa are all wonderful. I call Fadwah one of the most influential women in my life because as I sought out to find a midwife who aligned with my beliefs, she did just that. But she also taught me a lot more that I didn't already know about the birth process. Through my care at Midwife360, I gleaned trust in my body, nature, and in my husband. The experience we had throughout the prenatal care process and the home birth we were blessed to have, certainly brought us closer. Things I loved: the time spent with me at each of my appointments. The knowledge and medical backing that Fadwah has. All of my questions were answered and my concerns were met with understanding, not contempt, as I had experienced with other medical providers as I interviewed them before choosing Midwife360. I had access to contact each of the 3 women when I needed to get ahold of them, even outside of traditional office hours. Then my birth experience! It truly was a beautiful experience. I had a couple of things that required medical attention and they were all handled graciously, with concern but not panic and very gently. I am considered "AMA" because I am over 35 years old and I was not once ever given a doubt that I could have a home birth, which is what I genuinely wanted. But they did give me the information so I would be prepared if it didn't go that route and I ended up not being able to have my home birth. All bases were covered, all precautions were met. At the end of it all, I entered this practice thinking that I wanted a home birth, but not being able to articulate why in a very educated manner to anyone who inquired. My baby nearly died and had to be resuscitated because of Fadwah's lack of good judgment and professionalism. What was supposed to be the most beautiful day of my life turned into the worst nightmare I could ever have lived!! I also learned by real medical professionals that unfortunately my baby and I were not the first ones she endangered. It had happened before and there is a reason why she does not have a license to deliver at the hospital. I will forever regret putting my trust in her and wish I had never used her services and cross her path. My dream for both of my kids was a home birth. With my first birth (not with Midwife 360) nothing went as I hoped for and I ended up with a C-section in hospital. That's when I realized that having the RIGHT birth team in place is most important. The second time around I interviewed several midwifes in the area to find the team that will support me doing a VBAC at home. Fadwah and Lauren were perfect. Their kind, loving art combined with years of experience made me realize that they were the perfect fit. I could not have been happier with my choice. The prenatal care was amazing and they supported me whole heartedly to make my dream of a VBAC home birth a reality. They didn't give up on me when I was about to give up on myself. They were fighting for me to make my dream come true. My labor was close to 3 days - it was long and things progressed slowly. I know there are birth professionals who would have put me on a timer and would have sent me to the hospital. Not these two. I cannot say how thankful and how blessed we feel to have come across Fadwah! She was the midwife for our two births (so far) and we were actually her first home birth with her new practice, Midwife 360. There were two things I was looking for in a midwife: 1. That they share a similar birth philosophy (birth is a beautiful and natural process), allowing us to take our time with each birth with as little intervention as possible. Our first birth was 48 hours, 24 of which Fadwah was there and our second was 18 hours, 6 of which Fadwah was there. Not once did we feel rushed/pressured, on the contrary! 2. she had the medical knowledge and background to make sure our home birth was safe, and in case of an emergency we felt comfortable in whose hands we were in. I found that combination in Fadwah, with an emphasis on the medical background and knowledge. That is what I was most hesitant and nervous about in terms of a homebirth. Fadwah was recommended to us by our OBGYN. We originally were going to a doctor whom I greatly admire and trust (she was my OBGYN from before getting married) and in our 8th month, as we were discussing our birth plan, she turned to us and said, "Look, you won't be happy, I won't be happy. Why don't you reconsider the idea of a homebirth? I think home births are CRAZY but if there is ONE person who I would trust would be Fadwah." That was all I needed to hear. Medical professionals in the area respect her and know her skills (hence many call her when there are breech babies and other situations where they know Fadwah can help). She is really a very special soul (you will feel her beautiful energy as soon as you meet her! We spent 15 minutes with her on out first appointment and felt such ease at the prospect of giving birth at home!) I can not say enough about Fadwah and her team. She was truly my saving grace at 32 weeks! I had read about homebirth that if you're not 100% excited about your midwife/birth plan, you're doing it wrong. That's exactly how I felt with The Palm's Birth House. To each his own, but after my acupuncturist suggested I reach out to Fadwah at Midwife 360, everything fell into place. The initial consult was $50, which I was hesitant about, but we spent a good hour discussing everything I wanted and her decades of experience. The entire homebirth ended up being less than half of what The Palm's Birth House was charging! Fadwah went directly through my insurance instead of me having to do the leg work, which made it all very convenient. Her scheduled was very flexible, all my appointments were no wait, and a good solid hour of one-on-one including labs. I could not have had my dream homebirth without her and her team. Our first child was born in a hospital setting and the experimental left our family wanting more. More peace, more empowerment, and more say in how it all happened. So when we got pregnant with our second, the first thing we did was interview homebirth midwives. We immediately loved Fadwah and Lauren. They are grounded, calming and caring midwives that are passionate about birth and having a positive and safe experience. We got high quality care at each and every prenatal appointment. Where do I begin...We are very thankful and blessed to have Fadwah as our midwife. She has a heart of gold and loves what she does. My first time being pregnant I found out I was having twins. I had an awesome pregnancy with no problems or complications. Fadwah was there to answer every question and every concern throughout my entire pregnancy. Fadwah delivered my twins vaginally at 37 weeks and 4 days. I was in labor from start to finish for 19 hours.
